Not percentages, not "impressions", not prospects to be pitched or objections to be handled. If 2020 has reminded me of anything, it's that it is critical to connect with clients on a human level. Thinking in terms of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs is always a good place to start in your sales ...process to be sure that you're connecting in a meaningful and human way. I know from my own experience how important this is and how easy it can be to fall into a mindset of scarcity and spend your day pitching all the wrong people. Economy of time is critical to success in a sales environment and poor qualifying completely undermines this. The best way to improve your qualifying is ...to look for patterns in customer's body language and subconscious communications. It's almost more of an art form than a science so it's important to start building your experience right away. Make a conscious effort to think about it with every one of your prospects.
