25.01.2022 Aeonium Schwartzkopf. Photo on the left has full sun. Right hand photo has dappled sun. If it was grown in the shade it would be totally green! A good lesson on how the sun effects Succulents.....

24.01.2022 Growing succulents under a tree is great in the summer for some shade. However, in the winter the leaves falling on the succulents can cause the soil to stay wet which can cause root rot and the succulents will die. Make sure you remove all the leaves.

22.01.2022 When you are planting up a cup or small display. Make sure you choose small, preferably slow growing, succulents. Water very sparingly but make sure you DO water and NOT just spray with a water bottle?

19.01.2022 Finally finished my last Gabion wall. Succulents love growing in walls as the water drains quickly.

16.01.2022 We had some hail the other day. Some of my succulents suffered a little. It's not fatal though! Just a few black or white spots here and there. Luckily not all succulent types are damaged by hail.
