They filled them perfectly & with lots of care September's French Macaron classes have sold out but there's still a few spots in the upcoming October class. 17.01.2022 I was completely taken aback by this, but I have been nominated for the SA Woman Australia Awards, in the "Quiet Achiever" category. Thank you to the lovely woman who nominated me with such kind words, it made my day! #sawomanaustralia #SAWAwards2020

16.01.2022 Happy 3rd Birthday to @hiberniacafe! Congratulations Toni & James

15.01.2022 Sucre Patisserie turns 5 today! . I don't mention it often on here, but running a business can be hard work! I can only speak for myself, but I think most food based businesses run off a strong passion for what we do, this gets us through the hard days I think covid has shown us just how vulnerable food and beverage businesses are, we run on high costs and overheads (quality ingredients can be a killer!) with a low profit margin.... . We often trade our time and health to bring happiness to others through our love for creating an amazing food experience for our customers, who bring us so much joy - we love seeing you enjoy what we make for you! . Being a business owner has taught me many lessons in the last 5 years and I'm sure I'll keep learning as time goes by In the last few years I've realised even more, time is valuable; how/ who you spend it with and give it to is precious Take care of your health (to anyone who stands on their feet 8-16 hours per day, invest in compression mats, one of the best things I have ever done!), eat well, sleep well, drink lots of water, get some fresh air and exercise when you can . The name Sucre started as a thought whilst travelling through Eastern Europe with my boyfriend at the time, who is from Catalonia, "sucre" means sugar in Catalan, as well as French, but the pronunciation is different. So I often change the way I pronounce it . I started Sucre Patisserie a few months after returning to Adelaide from 7 years working interstate and overseas, it's been a bootstrap business from the start It's definitely involved lots of hard work (from family and friends too) and some tears, but at the same time, it's been so rewarding. Thank you all for supporting myself and Sucre and being part of the journey so far!

03.01.2022 Last Saturday I hosted a macaron class In these classes I always show you 2 macarons shells with faults, one over mixed and one under mixed, so if this happens at home, you'll know what the problem is This group made 2 beautiful batches of macarons, one was salted caramel, the other dark chocolate & raspberry Go to our Facebook events to check what's on in October
