25.01.2022 Ok that's enough, I think it's finished now. (don't want to 'overwork' it). Available on my website soon. 900 mm x 600 mm Acrylic on canvas Unframed
24.01.2022 Thanks for the encouragement. I have now started a third image. It represents the glowing light of the early morning, the middle is the blue-ness of midday and by the evening a storm has blown in
22.01.2022 I think I'm done with this one. It is a memory of the views along a section of Tasmania's north west coast where there are farms overlooking the ocean. Such a beautiful area. Acrylic on canvas. 600 mm x 600 mm. Available on my website sueholm.com.au
21.01.2022 I am working on a puzzle image to encapsulate (I hope) the Tasmanian Wilderness. These are the stages I have been working through. When I get to the finish I will post the result.
21.01.2022 Today I was working on a new puzzle image. There is winter snow on kunanyi (Mt Wellington), autumn leaves around the Cascade brewery and spring flowers in the gardens. Goes with the idea that Hobart can experience 4 seasons in one day. A bit more to go until its finished.
20.01.2022 another new puzzle available now
18.01.2022 All artists know this feeling
18.01.2022 This is my painting about Tasmanian Wilderness in general and a few of the animals who live there. It will become a jigsaw puzzle soon.
17.01.2022 Something quite different taking shape.
11.01.2022 A collection of items with a beach theme. Currently available at the Penguin Market or message me for details.

07.01.2022 Nice to make a start today on a new large canvas. Stay tuned for more progress....
06.01.2022 New work at the Penguin Undercover Market today
05.01.2022 This work recently sold and it's departure was a bit sad as I was particularly pleased with the end result. It shows the abandoned paper mill in Burnie Tasmania. Today it looks forlorn and empty but the shadow-figure within the image is a reminder that the past still wanders there.
02.01.2022 When these two images of the same place at different times are side by side am wondering if I am game to try for a third?
