25.01.2022 Keep your children close to you in your hearts... I have been supporting dear friends who have received a heavy blow - their teen daughter has been diagnosed with a tumour. And another friend, on the other side of the world, is about to lose her beautiful daughter because nothing can be done for her after an accident... So much pain for these two families... Please - share your love openly with your children - ensure they know how precious they are to you. We just never know what lies ahead...

25.01.2022 It was lovely to get this comment from a reader.

24.01.2022 ...if you know anyone who loves the idea of Christmas but ends up frustrated about the whole thing because there's too much to do and too little time - share this post! The portal access is closing in a few days. It's worth the $21 - using the ideas/strategies will easily save that much - not to mention time-saving and stress-reducing too. 22.01.2022 Tonight's radio interview on SA ABC is on at 8:30 pm SA time, and 9 pm EST.

21.01.2022 Pre-order is open - release date, Feb 17th (possibly 18th if you're in Australia due to the dateline)

21.01.2022 Next book up for release soon...

21.01.2022 This year has been challenging - a year of change, and of growth. It's also been a year of loss. For several of my friends, and myself included, there have been bereavements. On Christmas Eve, I find myself thinking of those who have gone, and hoping they knew how much they were loved. Tomorrow, I will raise a glass to those friends and family who are no longer "on the planet", and also to those who are, but where we can't see each other because of border restrictions/COVID issues. To all of you, I wish a close to 2020 that is peaceful and meaningful, and a 2021 that is promising and uplifting. With love and blessings to all, Sue

20.01.2022 A really nice review of my Healthy Body Basics course... Makes all the hard work of development, research, and getting it out there, worth it...

19.01.2022 Please tell me - what's your favourite song to sing? (Not listen to, but to actually sing - even if it's just in the shower or your car).

18.01.2022 I have been enjoying an e-mail exchange with someone who's involved in the fight for justice regarding the debacle of infected blood and blood products in Australia. He's just told me he's reading my book - and that it's relevant because he too was infected by contaminated blood... This very brave man has given me permission to post this photo. His name is Charles MacKenzie, and he's the face of Infected Blood Australia. Charles received a transfusion when younger because he... needed it for an underlying condition - now, he's dealing with another infection on top of his original condition. This is just wrong... but I am touched that I can do a little to help, and even more touched that he's enjoying the book. I wish he didn't need it... Bittersweet.

18.01.2022 Okay - so I'm already planning Christmas... (Love that time of year if I can avoid the angst). Here's a favourite memory. We used to have a silver (aluminium) Christmas tree. Dad bought it in the 1950s and the family had taken very good care of it. Enter me in 1964. For Christmas 1968 or '69, I was feeling sad. Other people had lights on their tree but we didn't - Dad was worried about electric shock. He saw how disappointed I was, and being the inventive problem solver, he ...made a little wooden base, attached a lighting "elbow" to it that could take two light globes. He put one yellow and one green party light into each socket. He placed the lights under the tripod stand that held the tree, plugged it in and... it was magical! All the little aluminium "leaves" twinkled and sparkled and the lights up through the branches made amazing patterns on the ceiling. I thought our tree was just as beautiful as anyone elses'. Great memories... What about you?

17.01.2022 On an Australia Day long weekend, 36 years ago, I married my first husband. What a great party it was! Good friends, family... some of whom are no longer here. We were SOOOO young - 20 and 22. We weren't right for each other in the long run - we were much better friends than spouses. But, given I've been married to #2 for 25 years now, I think it's pretty clear I learnt some valuable things about marriage. So I thank my ex. He helped me learn about myself as well as how to look at relationships differently - and that's enabled me to have a successful and happy second marriage.

13.01.2022 It's really exciting to be planning a weekend residential for deepening of Reiki practice for past graduates, AND to have a residential Reiki 1 seminar in planning to run concurrently. What an amazing immersive residential it will be (who cares that it's nearly a year away!) ;)

12.01.2022 I'm beginning to think about how COVID may impact us for many more months... and this reminds me to think even more about the mental and emotional health of my friends, family, and clients... We really do need to be supportive of each other as we move forward. This year has not been like any other, but I'm really hopeful we'll see improvements in treatment options, and I hope for the development of a safe vaccine.

11.01.2022 Somewhat chuffed about what's coming up tomorrow at 8:30 pm...

08.01.2022 Part of my teaching and mentoring work is in traditional Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki. I am doing soooo much distance support work as a volunteer, it seems there are many health challenges out there still - and we forget that not everything goes into lockdown because of COVID... people are still getting sick with other things... Look after yourselves, check in with your friends and family.

06.01.2022 I'm really enjoying putting together the weekly material for my Christmas Countdown interactive planning portal. A lot of the writing is contributing to the Christmas book I'm working on as well. And the weekly deadlines mean I have to get the work done - good accountability method! LoL!!

05.01.2022 I'll be appearing as a guest on a facebook trivia quiz show tonight, hosted by an old Canberra theatre friend, Joe Mcgrail-Bateup. Sounds like it will be fun! I'm not the only guest - another Canberra theatre person who also happens to be an author, Steve Herczeg, is on too. And I know some of you will remember the mad antics of The Four Kinsmen - the co-host is Scott Radburn, one of the Four. Robert Pearson is the permanent special guest and makes an additional quarter of t...he four. If you go to this facey link you can watch. But if you want to join in, you'll need to join the group (let me know if you do so I can let Joe know to approve your membership!) I have no idea what it will be like, but I do know I've had a lot of fun when I've been in shows with Joe, so I'm sure this will be fun too! See you later tonight. I believe start time is 8 pm! https://www.facebook.com/groups/227909668481897/
