22.01.2022 Free class ...so todays task is to find some chipboard shapes, here I have used a Tim Holtz steel rule die and cut some chipboard (you can use old cereal boxes if you like) but you can use any flourishy style chipboard you like. step 1 spritz the chipboard with a tiny little bit of water to soften step 2 glue chipboard to the sides of the jar with glue or gel medium, you can use rubber bands to hold in place if you like.... step 3 add a bit more glue to the sides to give a bit of texture step 4 allow to dry naturally (heat may damage the jar) step 5 paint with black gesso and allow to dry naturally.. tomorrow I will have another post on the next step...things you can do to plan ahead, decide on a colour, find a trinket for the top, some braid, and a chipboard or resin frame that fits the top of you jar

You will make the outside tray only and decorate, using trinkets, flowers and chipboard. Then it will be your choice on how you fill it, either with photos or bric a bracPlenty of room to personalize. To bring list for class, white gesso and texture paste, brushes messy mat, water container, wipes and the usual things This workshop will be capped at 10 people only!! 19.01.2022 Sunday at Image Plus Scrapbook Superstore we make this gorgeous Apothecary box, (suitable for essential oils or inks) lots of lovely texture, colour and patina, definitely one for the mixed media fan or someone who wants to make a wonderful keepsake (plenty of ability to personalize too) what would you store in this ???hmmm??

04.01.2022 Free Class....what could you make with this?. this is my go to conditioner at the moment, the jar is quite sturdy and the labels come off easily so it is such a shame to throw it away, so I am going to alter it to make a decorative jar, you can join me and follow along over the next few days, I will post step by step instruciton posts over the next weeks, you can save the photos if you like, to allow you to do the project later or you can work along with me, who is game? you never know what I will make lol it is a surprise class lol
