20.01.2022 Come for the Gold Coast Youth Network meeting, stay for the patting. Thanks for introducing me to Sunny and Yogi, who help young GC people build healthier relationships.

18.01.2022 Happy New Year!!!

15.01.2022 #Repost @facesofthegoldcoast with @get_repost I freaking love this little insta page I play around with, mostly because I get to meet INCREDIBLE people... l...ike Sue. Honestly what a privilege! How did I not hear of this wonder woman before in our town? I shared a few hours with @suespencecommunications on her property in Tallebudgera recently where she runs her business 'Horses Healing Humans' and her charity 'The Horse Whispering Youth Program' to assist underprivileged youth, many of whom are victims of domestic violence and extreme bullying. Her students learn the power of personality profiling and body language analysis as they communicate with their horses, developing deep mutual respect and self acceptance. The 'horse whisperer' realises they can become the 'people whisperer'. We talked, laughed, interacted with her horses and I got a glimpse of the heart of this woman and her work. Yes she is a public speaker, workshop facilitator, author, educator, been on a bucketload of talk shows.. etc etc however I was moved by something else. I think it was the quiet calm that underpinned her passion that got me... that unfaltering confidence that can only exist when you have seen lives changed and you know it. That twinkle in her eye was undeniable. She shared... 'There should never be any intimidation or fear in communication. There should only be respect and trust. You know... I have seen social workers in tears here at my property as they watch kids whom this world has given up on. There is a shift that you can see. It's actually visible. That moment when a student deeply senses that aggression is not their power, rather it's softness that is their strength'. . Thanks Sue. Truly, the Gold Coast is richer for having you in it! #nostrangershere . You can contact her at [email protected] or visit www.horseshelpinghumansaustralia.com for more info . Do you know someone who should be featured on @facesofthegoldcoast? . . #horseshelpinghumansau #horseshelpinghumans #horseswhohealpeople #horseswhoheal #horses #domesticviolence #domesticviolenceawareness #endbullying #enddomesticviolence #troubledyouth #griffithuniversity #powerofanimals #animallovers #gcbu See more

14.01.2022 Over the next 4 days I'll be talking about each of the 4 personality types based on the 4 temperaments. Which one are you? Let's start with Yogi. Key strengths ...of a Yogi, enthusiastic, funny, loves being around people & is good at motivating people. Under stress you can get frenetic, you might often misplace your keys. It can be hard to be on time because you get caught up in the moment. What we teach our Yogis with exercises with our horses, is to ensure you are communicating from a place of stillness, rather than moving your body and eyes around, this helps with focus, giving clear direction and so people take you seriously and will listen to what you have to say. We also go through emotional regulation, your energy can get high sometimes, you will learn what that does to the horse & people around you. Emotionally a Yogi can be prone to depression but it's the least you would expect! Think of Robin Williams If you have a Yogi friend and you haven't heard from them for awhile reach out!!! See more

13.01.2022 The real Sunny ,Yogi ,Mindy and Larry which our cartoons are based on! Understanding the differences of our families or housemates during this time of lock down... helps immensely :) Which Horse Or Pony Are You ?! is based on the 4 temperaments similar to the disc model. Horseanising Humans (!) helps people understand themselves and others with acceptance and humour. The program also helps normalise anxiety , depression , ADHD etc and helps immensley with emotional regulation. So proud of all my Licensees around Australia, Tasmania and NZ as they are are all blessing their communities :) See more

04.01.2022 Gate opening......those Aha moments where you figure out those previously incomprehensible problems. At Horses Helping Humans we (myself and the Horses) encoura...ge the gates to open. For example, I had a client she couldn’t get her horse to do what she asked, she cried my kids never listen to me, she then started laughing deflecting her issue by humour (common for playful extrovert personality’s)That moment was metaphorical learning for her; she realised she was asking with her voice but not asking with her body language or the right level of energy: HHH is all about facilitating change for the better.
