25.01.2022 CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS Christmas holiday countdown has started. We will be closed for the first 4 weeks of the Public School Xmas holidays, from Monday 12th Dec - Saturday 7th Jan. We will be open the last 2 weeks of the holidays, with classes running as normal from Tuesday 10th Jan Week 1 DEC 12-17 CLOSED Week 2 DEC 19- 24 CLOSED Week 3 DEC 26-31 CLOSED... Week 4 JAN 2-7 CLOSED Week 5 JAN 9-14 OPEN Week 6 JAN 16-21 OPEN All of us at the swim school would like to wish everyone in advance a Safe Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We look forward to seeing all our swimmers in the new year well rested & raring to go.

23.01.2022 XMAS HOLIDAYS Christmas holiday countdown has started. We will be closed for the first 4 weeks of the Public School Xmas holidays, from Monday 16th Dec - Saturday 11th Jan. We will be open the last 2 weeks of the holidays, with classes running as normal from Tuesday 14th Jan . To save confusion on who is intending to return after the holidays, to hold your placement, fees for January are to be paid with December fees. Dont forget to notify the office of any planned absences to qualify for make up classes.

20.01.2022 BLOCK LESSONS JANUARY 2018 This is an intensive program that helps children learn and grasp new skills and techniques by reinforcing with practice on a daily basis. Block lessons will be held in the mornings, Monday 8th Jan Friday 12th Jan. The cost is $65 for five lessons. Add your name to the list in the office. Or ring 54976866 for further information. With limited places, names & full payment is required by Saturday 2nd December for confirmation. We will contact you before the end of term with lesson times. Happy Swimming Sue

14.01.2022 Easter Holidays After much discussion we have decided to close for the Easter school holidays, Monday 6th April Saturday 18th April. This will give everyone time to listen to all information and come to the best conclusion for all. Obviously open and close times can change by the hour. I will try to keep everyone informed. 13.01.2022 2015-2016 DROWNING REPORT In 2015/2016 there were 280 drowning deaths in Australia, 83% were Male (80% last year) 0-4 yrs: 21 drowned (26 last year) 5-14 yrs: 11 drowned (9 last year) 15-24yrs 52 drowned (23 last year)... The location changes as they grow, from swimming pools for under 5, to river/creek locations for older children. Swimming lessons are a gift for life!

11.01.2022 HI everyone, just a reminder to all our Saturday swimmers. To clear up some confusion. We will be swimming this Saturday 29th June. 11.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE Hi everyone, hope everyone has stayed safe & happy. It looks like (fingers crossed) we are reopening on Tuesday 14th July. It will be good to see everyone again. We have greatly missed the kids happy faces. Of course there will be many changes implemented to be help us stay safe. Heads up, most likely changes will be no sharing of equipment, all swimmers will need their own goggles, fins, board etc. Entry and exit doors along with other social distancing rules. We will also be offering private lessons, one one one, and semi private lessons with 2 in a class. I will post more information as I know more. I will also ring everyone to confirm their availability. Could everyone please like and share this post, or just tell those you know aren't on social media. Till then stay safe. Sue and team

09.01.2022 JULY HOLIDAYS The next lot of school holidays start Monday 1st July for two weeks. The swim school will be closed for the whole two weeks, giving all swimmers a mid year break from their lessons. There will be no classes from Monday 1st July Monday 15th July. ***Classes will resume as normal on Tuesday 16th July. *** We would like to wish everyone a Safe & Happy Holiday and we will be pleased to welcome everyone back on the 16th July well rested and raring to go.

06.01.2022 COVID 19: Sue’s Swim School will remain open unless otherwise advised by the government. We are not considered a place of social gathering. We are lucky in that our facility does not allow public swimming, aqua classes or anything other than Learn to Swim. We have rearranged the seating to provide social distancing & have adopted comprehensive cleaning and sanitizing throughout our areas of use and equipment.... The sandpit/play area will be closed to observe social distancing. Obviously, parents can decide to stop lessons. Please have the courtesy to give us 2 business days’ notice if you wish to suspend lessons, don’t wait until the day of your lesson to notify us so we have time to reschedule and condense classes as needed. We are happy to suspend any remaining lessons/holding fee for 6 months with notice. Please be considerate and socially responsible, if your child has any symptoms’, ring in away. Remember we have a very reasonable make up policy in place, so you don’t lose your lesson unnecessarily if you follow the make-up policy. Easter Holidays As usual we will be open over this lot of school holidays, barring the public holidays. Please notify the office if you plan to be away.
