22.01.2022 WE'RE NOW BOOKING SPOTS FOR 2015. I trust everyone had a fantastic Christmas break and hope that the New Year brings you "the next step" in your endeavours. In 2015 we're working together with the Comedy Gallery (Andrew Brown and Dale Craig) to establish a launching pad for you to get experience working with the professionals. It's the year to know your fans and get paid. For the Newbies this is the year to do something scary.... Spots now available for the months of January - July! Nominate 3 spots on non-consecutive months. For experience comics only, one of those spots can be an MC spot. We will be searching for 2 of the best performers to lineup with the professionals for the Comedy Gallery Showcase at the end of each month. Please send your requests via private messages on our Facebook Talent Page or Facebook Official Page. We're sorting out the requests in our inbox.

14.01.2022 It is with much regret that we must inform everyone of Sugar Laughs closure. The room will no longer be operating after a run of three years. Management has decided to close Jacksons on Tuesday nights due to successively poor attendances that fail to justify the operational costs required to staff the venue and keep it open. We thank the venue management for their patience, support, and for giving us every opportunity possible to make Sugar Laughs a success. We also thank a...ll of the acts that appeared on stage over the last three years and all of the punters who came out to support the room and the comics, even on many nights where they might have preferred to be elsewhere. We are considering taking the Sugar Laughs brand to another venue, however there is nothing noteworthy to share at this time and Sugar Laughs should be regarded as dead and buried until further notice. Our sincerest apologies to all of the performers who were booked for this Tuesday and the coming weeks; we wish you all the best for the future. Keep kicking!

He must've been holding onto that little ball of hate for more than 3 months, which is a shame because now we're unable to rectify the problem...

If you can see your name on the left then I have the information you've provided If you can see 'Any' or 'Un' in the 2nd to 4th column to the right of your name then you did not provide any preferences and will be considered a lower priority than those who have requested specific dates. Although Kurly made the casting call las...t year he had to travel overseas on short notice and asked me to take over the bookings close to Sugar recommencing for 2015. I am just now scheduling February after collating the data and creating a functional spreadsheet, and I very much appreciate your patience.
