14.01.2022 Starting tomorrow at 9am, the 5th of May, Sugar and Spice will be re-opening. We will be running as a strictly takeaway cafe, with a smaller menu to make things easier for customers and staff alike. Pop down and show your support for local businesses, we are excited to see all your familiar faces once again ... (Side note: please remember to be taking precautions, and try not to pop in if you’re feeling sick. Delivering to your car in the car park is 100% an option if you don’t feel comfortable being out and about.)

05.01.2022 After over 6 years it is time for Jasper and I to say goodbye to this beautiful cafe. I have formed wonderful relationships and humbly found out that I am capable of alot more than I thought possible. I succeeded! I have so many people to thank for helping with that success,my family (especially Mum and Dad),my valued customers,my amazing staff over the years,my awesome landlords and Cherie for years of sound advice!... Sugar & Spice will not miss a beat as the new owner/operator Stacey steps in on Monday! Stacey is an amazing cook and person. She will be continuing to make sure that all her customers receive the same easy going/family orientated/high standard service that they always have. As always everything will be home made with love The only changes that will be made will be positive ones,starting with longer trading hours and opening Saturdays......winning! We wish you all the best Stacey! Jasper and I have trained two wonderful new staff members so pop in and say hi and offer your support. I will be in next week for transition and finalisation so come and say bye.....but not if you are going to make me emotional . ...forget that...I'm teary just typing this Thanks everyone! 04.01.2022 After serious consideration I have decided to close the doors to Sugar and Spice. This was not an easy decision to make but I believe it is the right one for the well-being of myself, my staff and the wider community. It was a heartbreaking decision for me to make as I have watched this little cafe of mine grow and thrive for almost six years. A massive shout out to all my staff over the years, my fantastic landlords and my loyal customers, some who have become amazing frien...ds. I realise that others will suffer greater losses than closing a business. I hope in these hard times that I can find a way to help others less fortunate within our community.
