20.01.2022 The second cake this weekend was for our good friends Kim and Arthur. Kim's Dad, Eric, turned 80 and they asked for a cake based on Lord of the Rings. After much discussion we decided on Bag End, Bilbo's home on Hobbiton, on the day of his Eleventy-First birthday. A light fruit cake, with fondant and royal icing decorations.

02.01.2022 We had two cakes to create this weekend. Firstly a birthday cake for a friend of Stevie's. we were asked for a choc mudcake with Kit Kats, Maltesers and Minnions. I filled our freshly baked mudcake with Malteser buttercream, covered it with chocolate buttercream and surrounded it with kit Kats. Annie then went to town creating these adorable, mischevious Minnions.
