The Sound of '65 by The Graham Bond Organisation, Ghosts by Albert Ayler (with Don Cherry, Gary Peacock and Sonny Murray if you don't mind!), the first 2 albums by the progressive late 60s early 70s outfit Colosseum, plus a couple nice singles by the Warumpi Band and Coloured Stone. The LPs are all original UK pressings. The 7s are original Oz pressings. 05.01.2022 Sometimes i get dejected about vintage audio gear being busted worn out needing repair always and i say yeah nah I'm over all that. But then something truly impressive walks in and i say Yeah Alright! This is an 80s Crown Sz-5100ss dual tape boom box in nice condition. Both tapes sound great. It's missing one of its radio aerials but the radio stations come in fine on both bands, and the aerial is the kind you easily pick up from Jaycar. I'm currently using it to check the c...ondition of the Sugar Sounds tapes (MC Hammer up next ) and it'll have to stay at least for the hip hop show next Friday, but if this is the sort of thing you need in your life, it's for sale. A story about Jean Lee, a 31-year-old woman convicted of murder and hanged at Melbourne's Pentridge Prison in 1951. She had been sedated and was held upright on a chair before being plunged to her death, the last woman hanged in Australia. (Thanks Bond University) Australian alternative rock and its interest in true crime and its implications, would make for an interesting conversation. CD Looks and plays well. $15.
