24.01.2022 RIP Paul Corley, you were one in a million, thank you for the madness, the craic, and especially the music! Love you mate! One of the most magical nights I had ...in Joyces was the first time Henry McCullough played. The bar was in the middle of being extended so the back was a building site. Henry played his gig in the tiny middle room, to about 20 or 30 people, it was packed! He had no PA so we used my one and my mini disk as a mixer. 17.01.2022 When your mate from back in Ireland calls and tells you they are putting a lockdown live stream together for one of our old friends Paul, who is not well and asks you to do a few songs for him. Paul owned Joyce's pub in Kiltimagh in the 90's which was a mad magical place for music. Thanks Michael Roache for asking, it was an honour to take part, a beatuiful tribute to a great person Paul Corley and brought back memories of some amazing times in Joyce's Bar. 13.01.2022 I wrote Twisted Ideology a few years ago about the rise of far-right fascists. I was horrified by the rise of Trump and his dreadful brand of bullying politics. With the election coming up in November in the US I would implore all Americans to vote and not for Trump!! If you can't condemn them you are one.
