24.01.2022 https://sullyscarairconditioning.com.au This is another typical evaporator removed from a GQ Nissan Patrol. I don't like to service an a/c system without removing, cleaning & disinfecting this particular part, otherwise I see it as doing half a job. Most owners a quite surprised when they see the condition these are in..

23.01.2022 https://sullyscarairconditioning.com.au A big rig with a few a/c issues. First up was the blower fan/motor. Intermittent actuation usually points to worn brushes. They were extremely worn so I replaced the motor. Secondly was finding the leaks, quite easy when they are audible and 'rub throughs' on alloy line or HP flexible hose are very common with heavy vehicles. ... Two hose repairs, orings supply & fit plus a receiver drier got it sorted. Evacuating & regassing an a/c system is the easy part when you know how. See more

21.01.2022 https://sullyscarairconditioning.com.au Another comparison pic of an evaporator removed from a popular family vehicle. This vehicle did have a cabin filter, although dust can still get past. This causes corrosion and the mould/bacteria that accumulates can be harmful to one's health. Get your a/c system tested, inspected, cleaned & disinfected at least once per year. Dont wait until something goes wrong.... Call to make a booking 0401 343 071 See more

20.01.2022 https://sullyscarairconditioning.com.au Some parts removed from a Toyota Corolla. As you can see, wherever a cabin filter is dismissed the result can be a big mess not to mention bad for your health. This system was well overdue for a service & replacement, and we provide the most value for money.

20.01.2022 https://sullyscarairconditioning.com.au This is a picture of the 'serviceable' drier located in the end bell of the condenser on a Holden VE commodore. I've been called out to diagnose the fault with the a/c, in the process of inspection I found this unbelievably incompetent result of service by some other top notch a/c tech. The circlip was obviously removed to replace the 'serviceable' drier, then the circlip was not properly reinstalled. My concern is that the condenser is engineered to withstand pressures of up to 450psi (limited by a pressure switch or transducer) and if someone leant over this while the a/c was running and it let go the result would have been catastrophic - impaled by an alloy disc. I am fixing so many jobs by other businesses this season and it is really disturbing.

19.01.2022 https://sullyscarairconditioning.com.au BMW 5 series So after being regassed numerous times by other car air conditioning shops, I found the leak. Although a very, very minor leak I know the refrigerant was lost somewhere so I will not retire from any job until the leak is found and fixed. Another very labour intensive job but I can be bothered!

18.01.2022 https://sullyscarairconditioning.com.au A bit of an odd ball here, somehow the a/c compressor discharge hose has rubbed through on the serpentine belt. I come across unusual faults every now & then, I always like to work out how it happens and something as simple as driving through water over the road during a storm can push condensers onto intercoolers or hoses onto belts leading to rub throughs.

18.01.2022 https://sullyscarairconditioning.com.au Winter is coming! Did you know Sullys Car Air Conditioning also replaces heater cores, radiators, hoses and faulty heater boxes? Basically anything to do with your vehicle HVAC system, we also carry the latest top of the range scan tool for vehicles with climate control.

16.01.2022 https://sullyscarairconditioning.com.au We do trucks and tractors too, did you know? A horrible previous hose repair by a competitor had to be redone by myself. ... I removed the a/c discharge hose & cut out the old repair & hose. I replaced it with high quality fittings and HP hose with service port valve guaranteed to not leak. I had a receiver drier on board so that got replaced as well making the job even better. A good end result See more

12.01.2022 https://sullyscarairconditioning.com.au I've been doing some long days at work lately, due for another break soon! Many new great customers already and as usual I am fixing things others cannot. Thanks everyone for the referrals and word of mouth.

10.01.2022 https://sullyscarairconditioning.com.au There should be no guess work in pinpointing leaks or diagnosing faults in people's cars. A lot of other businesses rely on guesswork because they do not have the specialist equipment or knowledge that we do, I do so much rectification work from competitors that it is literally out of control. I pride myself on honesty, competence and proficiency. ... For all of your vehicle air conditioning and paintless dent repair needs contact us, first. See more

06.01.2022 https://sullyscarairconditioning.com.au This is what makes my business hard, dealing & competing against illegitimate and dishonest companies. Everyday I receive calls from people who want their a/c systems regassed or 'topped up' (both illegal acts knowing there is a leak). Today I had someone call and ask if we could top up or regas his car a/c. He had it done regularly, certainly not by us, and was after a quote. I always ask "have you diagnosed the fault?" The answer w...as "I know there's a leak but I'm not interested in replacing the orings" So my question now is who is doing all of this illegal work around South East QLD?? It is these cowboys that ruin the industry for businesses like ours, and nothing gets done about it unless people start referring them to industry regulators such as Arctick. See more

04.01.2022 https://sullyscarairconditioning.com.au I prefer to go the extra mile and service/replace important components no matter how insignificant they are thought to be. A $4 part can be the most important factor in some vehicle a/c systems working or failing. Although sometimes a lengthy effort, at least I can sleep at night knowing I've done my job right.

01.01.2022 https://sullyscarairconditioning.com.au Some days nothing goes right. This is the issue with a/c systems that have never been dismantled for servicing and are exposed to dirty environments. Every join on this particular vehicle was 'seized' and the threads either stripped or the fittings broke. A tough day at the office

01.01.2022 https://sullyscarairconditioning.com.au Nobody can challenge my proficiency and knowledge on dismantling and assembling vehicles for HVAC service & repairs, given my extensive career background. 2hrs from start to finish once the leak was pinpointed to replace this evaporator...
