24.01.2022 This week we have said farewell to the Austral Tasmania Pty Ltd team. They have given all of us a fabulous insight into the history of our Montpelier Retreat site over the past couple of months. They will now analyse and assess all the information they have recorded, which will contribute to interpretative works within the development. Thanks team! #archaeology #history

21.01.2022 Visited Prep and Grade 1 pupils at Goulburn Street Primary School today to talk about archaeology, history and artefacts. They did some fantastic drawings from when they visited the Montpelier Retreat site and of the artefacts they had seen. There are definitely some budding artists in the class!

05.01.2022 As reported in The Mercury an appeal has been lodged with the Supreme Court of Tasmania in regard to the recent Resource Management Planning Appeals Tribunal decision approving the project. This appeal removes the certainty we had gained from the Tribunal's decision. We intend to take all steps to defend the permit and have appointed legal representation. We are frustrated by the process and believe that the opportunity of any start on the excavation has now been lost. The vi...ability of the development and our preparedness to move forward is a matter we are now considering. We would like to thank all of our supporters at this time. http://www.themercury.com.au//sultan-axes-80m-salamanca-pr
