25.01.2022 Closure: Due to the current bad weather and the forecast for worse weather to come, we have decided to close for dinner tonight (Thursday 30 March). We will reopen again tomorrow morning at 11 am as usual unless the weather hasn't improved. We wish all our customers a safe and sound night. Best wishes Sum and Michael.

23.01.2022 LUNCHTIME TRADING HOURS CHANGE - Our new menu is currently being printed and should be available sometime next week. One change we would like to tell you in advance is that there will be a change to our lunchtime trading hours. As of Monday 6th August we will be closed for lunch every Monday and Tuesday. 22.01.2022 We had our staff Christmas lunch today in the restaurant for all our families. Good food, kids played, secret Santa and a lot of laughs. We would like to wish everyone out there a very Merry Christmas also. Best wishes from all the staff at Sum Thai on Parklands.

21.01.2022 Chicken Thigh vs Chicken Breast? Thanks to everyone who gave us their feedback on which cut of chicken meat they prefer. As the response has been significant for both types we have decided to offer both for customers to choose when making an order. So our staff will ask you if you would like breast or thigh meat when you order. For ONLINE ORDERING, there is a COMMENTS section in the CART where you can state Breast or Thigh meat. 14.01.2022 Our chef Ernalyn has a passion for cooking and has been whipping up a batch of sticky date pudding to add to our menu. It’s delicious. We serve it with ice cream when you dine in but is also available for take away.

12.01.2022 Single-Use Plastic Bag Ban - As you know, the ban on these bags comes into force on Sunday 1st July to encourage people to reuse bags. If you order take-away food, our staff will ask you if you have a re-useable bag to carry your food home. If you don't, we have a supply of thicker, government approved plastic bags for you to use. At this stage these bags will be free and they are re-useable. Let's get behind this Government initiative an use less plastic to help protect our sea-life. Best wishes Sum and Michael

02.01.2022 We have recently changed from serving chicken breast to chicken thigh meat in our meals. It costs a bit more for us per kg but we think it’s a tastier and softer meat when cooked. We really appreciate this opportunity to share our food with such wonderful people at TPC.
