25.01.2022 Its Pay day! So I thought now would be a great time to remind everyone that we are offering Outsourced Payroll Services. * We will make sure you are compliant with the ATO & your Award and allow your employees to check rosters, apply for leave and submit timesheets where appropriate. * So, if you have employees, including apprentices and you dont want the hassle of entering in timesheets, leave requests and dealing with superannuation then get in touch, you will be surprised at how cost effective it is and in most cases cheaper than an in-house payroll clerk!

24.01.2022 As we know, Melbourne and Mitchell Shire are now in Stage 4 Lockdown. For those businesses that need assistance, the State Government has announced an additional $5000 grants for Business Support. For those that received the first round of $5000, you dont need to do anything further. For those that didnt apply for the first round, there is still time to apply. There are some things you need to know so Ill put the link in my bio so you can read more about it but if you need any assistance with your application, reach out

23.01.2022 A full day of client visits today and Im already 3 coffees in.... Seriously though, I get asked a lot What exactly does a Bookkeeper do? And my answer is usually I keep the financial records of your business up to date. One of the best ways of achieving that is by doing your books regularly, daily if possible because we all know that Ill get to it tomorrow really means; sh*t! BAS is due so Ill be over here at the computer entering the last 3 months of financials ... * If you need some help keeping your books balanced while you keep your business and family life balanced get in touch and Id be happy to see how I can help make things easier (but you must have good coffee )

23.01.2022 Big shout out to the crew at @plentyvalleyprinting for getting me sorted with new cards and letterhead...thanks guys

22.01.2022 If you are in an industry permitted to work during lockdown, you and your employees must now hold a Permit. These can be downloaded from www.vic.gov.au or you can fill one out if you are using ServiceM8 work scheduling software

22.01.2022 If you have less than 19 employees you only have 5 days left to meet the STP deadline. This isnt one of those admin tasks that can wait until tomorrow. If you need help, now is definitely the time to reach out!

22.01.2022 Does your paperwork need some focus? This week only, we can catch up on your backlog for a fixed price of $149 but hurry because I only have 3 spots left!

21.01.2022 Behind every good business is a great bookkeeper ........Never underestimate the power of having a professional taking care of your books, it does cost but itll cost you more if you get it wrong!

21.01.2022 Are you a tradie or field service worker? If you want to provide a more professional service but finding it hard to due to all the administration and paperwork involved in running your business, then this is for you. Dont miss appointments or be slow to provide quotes and invoices, let us help! Did you know that in addition to bookkeeping services, we can act as your office administration? Thats right, for less than the cost of a full time employee, we can provide admin support including creating and following up quotes, invoices, chasing payments, work scheduling and more. We can even answer your calls. We give you a dedicated number to use and all calls will be answered by our team. So, if youre stuck up a ladder, under a house or on leave and just dont want to answer, weve got you covered.

21.01.2022 Reminder: Superannuation contributions for Q2 are due by 28 Jan. To avoid late lodgement it is important to have this completed today to allow time for the funds to be transferred.

20.01.2022 How often does this happen? You just get up on the ladder, get comfy on the creeper or crawl in under the house......and then the phone rings We can take care of that for you....from only $200 per fortnight, we can run your admin for you, including taking the phone calls

18.01.2022 Yes, i am definitely still here...just swamped with JobKeeper, Cashflow Boosts, PAYG and BAS along with homeschooling just wanted to pop in to give an update after yesterdays announcement. The Government announced that from the 28th September 2020, the current $1,500 per fortnight JobKeeper payment will be reduced to $1,200 per fortnight, and there will be a reduction of $750 per fortnight for employees who were working less than 20 hours a week in February, 2020. Then, ...from the 4th January 2021, the rate will again fall to $1,000 per fortnight, and $650 for people working less than 20 hours a week. The JobKeeper 2.0 program will run until the 28th March 2021. New eligibility tests Businesses will also be expected to demonstrate the required reduction in turnover, which currently stands at 30 per cent for businesses with turnovers of $1 billion or less With the Government now requiring businesses to re-apply the tests for the June and September quarters to be eligible for JobKeeper 2.0 beyond September 28, 2020. So we will need to assess your June quarters revenue against that of June 2019 & September quarter against that of September 2019.

12.01.2022 One of the most common statements I get from my clients when I ask why theyve decided to take on a bookkeeper is: as a small business owner I felt I was spending too much time in my business.... if youre feeling the same get in touch to see how easy it is to outsource your bookkeeping and admin

12.01.2022 If you have a To-do list as long as your arm, give us a call, we can help

11.01.2022 Mechanics.....if you want to grow your business you need to stay on top of what money you have coming in and going out, see below for some simple tips. * Getting paid quickly Your quoting system can help you invoice quickly, if you use the same process and template, you can easily turn your quote into an invoice. This reduces data entry and helps you get paid quickly. Make sure to include clear payment details and think about taking phone payments too, you can offer this ser...vice to customers before they pick up their vehicle. * Parts and Stock Much of your business depends on whether you have the right part to fix your customers car on time. An organized set of accounts allows you to keep track of stock and lets you know when to re-order. Running supply reports can help allow you to budget for part costs and pay suppliers on time. * Remember, you cant make good business decisions without knowledge. * Get in touch if you would like to discuss more ways of streamlining your workshop See more

10.01.2022 Before our clients start working with us vs how they feel once they let us take care of the books Bookkeeping is tedious and time consuming but fortunately we come experienced and have the team and time to take it on for you.

08.01.2022 Hello....its me if you didnt sing that like Adele then Im not sure well work out seriously though, if youre constantly on the phone trying to recover outstanding debts then let us help! Who knows...maybe our Adele renditions might be enough to get you paid!

08.01.2022 Up and at it.....its #friyay and last day of term for my kids, so Im spending the last of my kid free hours making phone calls and studying (whos stupid idea was it to go back to study? )

06.01.2022 If only this was my view....after having a few days away in the sun with my family Im back at it, just in time to get cracking on BAS lodgements

05.01.2022 Why do so many tradies choose not to engage a bookkeeper but still complain about paperwork? Its true that doing it yourself costs you nothing but your time however a typical bookkeeper charges a lower hourly rate than the average tradie, so it makes good business sense to outsource your books Its also worth noting that there are fines and penalties for not submitting complete financial reports to the ATO on time and a good bookkeeper will ensure that every receipt and... invoice is categorized and coded correctly so you dont miss out on any GST refunds So yes, having a bookkeeper will cost you but its an investment that will give you time, freeing you up for other things

04.01.2022 Its always good to get in some refresher training

For this week only, I am doing some catch up work for some new clients at a reduced, fixed price. If youre behind on paperwork now is the time to get caught up, for $149 you can choose for me to either get your reconciliations up to date or Creditor/Debtor back under control.
