14.01.2022 *********PUBLIC STATEMENT ********** Hey gang, here are a few thoughts we'd like to share with you. Its been just on a week and a half since the Summer Beach Hop. #BOY it was tough this year! So many things went against us. First up we had to change the date, then the date we chose had so many major events against us on the same night, then we copped a legal challenge a week out, then we got the worst wind in years on the day & we thought we did it tough. However since the ev...ent: * it has rained nearly every day * we look like we have won the legal challenge So now we don't feel so bad & time has come to thank some legends who stuck by us when the going was tough. Thank you to Ros Gardner, Bill Gardner, Bill Croft , Steve Douglass, The Drive-Ins #Coffs_Coast_Events, Stoo Copeland, Observatory Appartments Coffs Harbour, Mike Camilleri, Tamara Firth, Jenny Arthurs, Michael Moffett, The Coffs Coast Advocate Coffs Coast Focus Advanced Motoring Club, Coffs Harbour Heather Mckinnon, Courtney Tune, Kim Towner & John Black, the folks at IP Australia, DBT Productions (Drew & the wonderful Amelia) Coralea Cameron, Grimmo, Vince @ Coffs Coast and Country Temp Fence , John Castle, Coffs Harbour City Council, Dan Heather #ALL_THE_CAR_OWNERS & especially Tony Huckle who drove his car from Missouri to California, then shipped it to Australia & who allowed us to show it & to anyone else who we may have forgotten. Events are tough as i have often said but if you have a good idea & stick it out you end up with your own creation, something you can be very proud of. We now have a retro music event that is going into its third year.
