08.01.2022 Flexibility, not just a Design Standard. We understand that not everyone is the same and that individual living spaces need to be designed for individual needs. That is why at Summer Housing, we design for flexibility, not just to a Design Standard. Australian Standards and other design guidelines assume a one size fits all approach that can limit tenant opportunities.... Our apartments are designed to allow customisation. In conversation with our tenants and their Occupational Therapists, we work to make sure that reasonable and necessary modifications are made to the apartment so that tenants can achieve their independent living goals.
