25.01.2022 VERY IMPORTANT: "SARCFEST" this weekend August 26 @ 8:30 am - 4:00 pm

20.01.2022 the 6Mtr Rptr @ Parrots Nest is now BACK ON-AIR 53.550 (123tn) :) {some reports say it's a little low & scratchy, we will keep on eye (ear hopefully) on this}

18.01.2022 On Saturday 29th September a group of us gathered at the Goonengerry repeater site. Present were Rob, Duncan, Brian, Paul, John, Scott, Reg and Roger. The drive up the steepish hill was uneventful and the first job was to lower the existing mast. This was achieved with no problems and then the job began. The old antennas were removed and the coax examined. The CB antenna had water pouring out of it and the foam dielectric in the heliax cables were also water affected and they had to be replaced. Guy wires were also examined. New coax meant new connectors had to be fitted. The weather was pretty warm and later in the afternoon storm clouds gathered. We left the mast laying down as it was too heavy to lift safely with what we had on hand. We packed up and headed for home as the first lightning strikes hit the nearby hills.

17.01.2022 SARC WINS PRESIDENT’S CUP IN JOHN MOYLE FIELD DAY! The results are in for the 2018 John Moyle Field Day, and SARC has won the coveted President’s Cup, for the second time. This is awarded to the highest score by a WIA-affiliated club. Also the club took first place in the 24 hour, multi-operator, portable, phone only, all-band section.

16.01.2022 successful SarcFEST: Good day for those that braved the rain. Lots of bargains being snapped up everywhere. Plenty of conversations being enjoyed. Hot food and drink supplied by our club members was popular. Thanks also to all the SARC members who worked long hard hours to pull off another successful Sarcfest. :)

16.01.2022 this FINALLY turned up...hihi

15.01.2022 SARC COMMITTEE MEETING today: 13 Members turned up for today’s meeting. Many club room ideas floated around & a future clean-up-day on a regular basis will be put in place soon, so club Working Bees will end up as smaller Maintenance Only days instead. hihi :) ... This ends up with a nicer environment for Members and Visitors alike. Also less of a chore for future Working Bee days around the clubrooms & grounds.
