19.01.2022 So excited to be back tomorrow. So many choices. It’s so hard to decide what to have for lunch. Maybe I’ll just have to toss a coin. Hope to see our regulars there tomorrow. Special hello to our cousin Macushla in the states who said she’d look at our page.

18.01.2022 It’s a trifle warm out here where we live. Consequently I thought it would be fun to jump fully clothed into the pool to play with my daughter and husband Greg. Ha ha. You think that’s great. Yes it would have been, if I did not have my phone in my pocket. Didn’t realise it for over 15 minutes. Phone is now DOA at the phone hospital and I need to buy a new one. Long story short please ring Greg if you need anything or to contact me. He’s on 0412 361 237.

09.01.2022 It has been a long hard road since March this year when our weekly market of over 14 years, Parramatta Farmers Market closed due to the Covid virus . So it is with great excitement that we announce it is returning this Friday. The market may be laid out differently, and we all have to adjust to a newnormal. ... We hope that our regulars will return and drop by and say hello. We have missed seeing you each week. Please be patient as we all get our heads around the social distance aspect thing of 1.5 m from one another at any stall. We look forward to renewing friendships with other stallholder colleagues on Friday. We especially wish to thank the market manager Albert for his hard work in re-activating the market. SEE YOU ALL ON FRIDAY

09.01.2022 The sign says it all.. Thank you to our loyal customers who have come back to us in droves today. We truly have missed you. Huge thank you to Padstow Rotary for their support and tremendous efforts in dealing with council to get this market back on track after 8 long months.

07.01.2022 I’m a bit Brahms and Liszt I have just enjoyed breakfast of toast with our lovely Cherry Port jam. Oh my. I just asked Greg was there any cherries with that? You know. Like the big yellow M would you like fries with that? I don’t think I want to eat anything else today. I am going to save that flavour on my tongue for ever. The jars have yet to be labelled otherwise you would get a photo. ... Our first attempt at it. Certainly won’t be our last. See more

05.01.2022 I was without a phone for about six hours. Gosh it was lovely and quiet. But now you can ring Joyce again. So any orders you know what to do. Happy to say I’m a tired little vegemite after packing the van for tomorrow and the car for the day after and so now am off to bed for an early start at Parramatta Farmers Market . Can’t wait to catch up with all our regulars, it’s been exactly 8 months since we were there last.

04.01.2022 Quick question to all our wonderful followers out there. Does anyone have a lemon tree with an abundance of ripe lemons on. We are dying to purchase some cherries and do a lovely cherry jam, or cherry topping for Christmas, but sadly the Lemons at most markets we attend are a little too expensive to use in the jams. Please feel free to ring Joyce on 0412 569 335 if you can help us out.
