Jodie is OH-SO-FABULOUS, passionate and energetic about her business, her clients, her suppliers and the fab people she works with... basically a dream client! 25.01.2022 A few weeks ago I was invited to be a part of the most beautiful day... Yaz and Dane from Tasmania were eloping here in Brisbane and in the true sense of elopement, they ran away to get married on their own... just the two of them and no one else Well... officially, they needed a celebrant and two witnesses (with a photographer to document it all - doubling as a witness)! I cant even begin to describe how amazing/challenging/fulfilling/life-changing it has been to take on such a mammoth adventure over the last four years! A not-for-profit project to showcase and support the businesses in Brisbane who have moved to Take Away/Delivery to try and sustain their businesses, their livelihoods, their lives. Times are crazy, sh!# Is going down, jobs have been lost and the hospitality industry that I have built my small business around over the last 5 years is in absolute, major crisis. The website that I launched today is both an attempt at keeping my brain oc...cupied as well as trying my hardest to give to my industry and colleagues that are hurting so hard right now. Julian & Shannon DSouza - this is their Festival and they work tirelessly to bring it to life... think its easy to pull it all off? Think again. But this little family does - every time. 13.01.2022 Take it Away, Brisbane Come on Brisbane, let's support each other. There's no doubt about it, these are scary times. Life as we know it is changing on the daily and we need to adapt QUICKLY. Industries are being shutdown as we move towards a contactless community.... One of the biggest industries suffering and needing to adapt quickly is our hospitality industry. For the time being, we can no longer meet up with our mates at our favourite restaurants, cafes, bars, breweries, festivals and events. And who knows how long that will last? Many of the businesses within the hospitality industry will be forced to close and others will struggle to remain open.
