25.01.2022 This is a great source of knife related information in Australia and has members from around the world.

22.01.2022 Just a few knives to sharpen this morning.......all by hand on whet stones

21.01.2022 My hand sharpening stone selection and process: 400/1000 combo diamond, 325, 600, 1200, 8000 grit DMT Diamond stones, 1000, 4000, 6000 grit King whetstones, 8000 grit Shapton professional ceramic stone, 8000, 12000, 15000 grit Welsh slate, hand made leather strops with polishing compounds.

21.01.2022 Some before and after photos of recent sharpening work, including a Leatherman with serrations.

21.01.2022 This is a knife handle that I've repaired for a friend. The original handle scales had warped and broken the rivets. I removed the scales, flattened them and refitted to the knife with red and white spacers with nickel silver rivets. I think it adds a bit of bling to a normally dull looking knife handle.

19.01.2022 Just a couple of knives to sharpen. When you sharpen by hand it can take a while, so there’s a few hours work here to be done.

18.01.2022 This is a pocket knife that I restored for a very patient friend, using a unique handle material of hundreds of layers of enamel paint. You can see the knife as it was before I restored it and after. Nickel Silver pins, brass liners and a new rear spring of 1055 steel.

14.01.2022 If you like fine quality knives by some of the best makers in the world, check out the Sydney knife show.

12.01.2022 If you have a ceramic knife like this and it's damaged or worn and no longer cuts, let me know as I can restore and sharpen them to a fine very sharp edge.

04.01.2022 If you like knives and knife info like I do, then check out the Australian Knife Magazine for a great read about local makers, suppliers and all things sharp and pointy.

03.01.2022 Just a couple of knives to sharpen this morning and get back to their owners once their done. Hmmmm....... might take me a while!!!!

03.01.2022 Unfortunately Summit Sharpening are not available for any sharpening services until early June. If you require our services after that time please leave a message and we will get back to you when we are available. Thank you.

02.01.2022 Looking forward to attending this event in Tharwa. I haven't made it to any other knife events for a while, so I'm very excited.
