A little more than 18 months ago, we were a circle of three young families with a vision of providing a fresh and healthy fast food alternative to the region and during the past year of being in business we are proud to say we have at least achieved that! Running a small business is no easy feat, and when you are in the business of fresh food thousands of kms away from your suppliers in a slowing economy it’s even harder! Despite our best efforts to create a sustainable and financially viable business, this reality hasn’t come to fruition. While we held on as long as we could, we have had to acknowledge the reality that sometimes it is better to know when to call it quits. Although the past 18 months have been some of the most challenging times, they have also provided us with so much joy to see the loyal support from our valued customers and dedicated team - so thank you #teamsumo and our #sumosquad for helping us.
