03.01.2022 Loads of dogs and CATS escape on NYE, even over fences when terrified by fireworks, ending up lost or in the local Shelter. PLEASE put them in laundry or somewhere escape-proof. Your cat could end up suffering in the bush, never found. PLEASE tell friends and neighbours too- obviously people are not focused on this, or there wouldn't be all the lost pets. Don't assume others are vigilant on this - please help pets however you can. PS I'd rather see FIREworks money spent on getting water to farmers and saving injured animals from fires- havent seen a word on news about burnt animals, and no ads from RSPCA! Are they stepping up to the plate? Maybe collecting pets or wildlife to go for medical help? What? Any FREE treatment/housing for injured pets?
