18.01.2022 DIRTY RAIN COULD BE BACK Good Morning all. We have been informed that more dirty rain will potentially be falling this afternoon. ... Unfortunately there isnt much we can do about it, However there may be a few steps to minimise the extent. Pool Blankets can be rolled out, and if you have old bed sheets or some kind of linen you can cover the pool with that may act as a natural filter to suppress the fine particles (May be difficult with larger pools). 09.01.2022 Just an update on where we are at with the dusty pools. Firstly thanks for your patience, the only way we can do this is sticking to the pool schedule in order of what is on our calendar, in saying that we will be starting early and finishing late each day, also working the whole of the long weekend to get everyone ones pool cleared up asap. While you are waiting for our visit there up a number of things you can do to start the process of clearing up your pool.... Going on how dirty the pools are we are now advising to take out all pool cleaners and leave them out. If you have a cartridge filter and you know how to pressure wash it/them, it would be helpful to start doing that twice a day if possible. If you have a sand filter and you know how to back wash and rinse your pool this also can be done twice daily. As far as filtration time leave filtration time on timers in auto mode. Any customers that have flocced your pool previously and know how to floc a pool please go ahead and do this. This has been an unprecedented situation and we will work as fast as we can to help you clear up your pools, but it might mean we need to floc every pool which will take 2-3 visits.
