The Commissions report confirms that none of our team the Captain, ships doctor, or shoreside port agency team misled public authorities involved in Ruby Princess being permitted to disembark guests on March 19. 20.01.2022 COMPANY UPDATE: In response to the recent U.S. CDC order on an eventual return to guest cruise operations, we are extending our pause in global operations to allow for the estimated preparation needed to complete required activities prior to sailing and taking into consideration the order’s proposed 7-day cap on itineraries. Impacted voyages include: - All cruises sailing through March 31, 2021 - All cruises longer than 7 days sailing in/out of US ports through Nov 1, 2021... We’re also extending our paused operations for cruises in and out of Japan through June 25, 2021, due to uncertainty about when international travel restrictions might be lifted. We appreciate the continued support and patience of our guests, partners, and travel advisors. It reinforces for all of us why we do what we do, as we look forward to the day we resume sailing. 02.01.2022 COMPANY UPDATE: We can now share that Sun Princess and Sea Princess have been sold to undisclosed buyers. These sales are in line with our parent company's plan to accelerate the removal of less efficient ships from the fleet. Both vessels defined the premium cruise experience, with Australians and New Zealanders spending close to 14 million nights aboard. While it is never easy to say goodbye to any ship in our fleet, this will allow us to deploy newer ships that enhance our offerings to guests. More info here: https://bit.ly/32QmN9a
