14.05.2022 Watching ’A Very English Scandal’ on Amazon Prime tonight and what should pop up??!!

01.05.2022 The fabulous historic working appliances at the Museum of Fire, Penrith (west of Sydney) Australia . Well worth a visit. So great to see this living history preserved so well!

24.01.2022 One of our Sunbeam Club members has this better-than-new Holbay H120 manifold for sale. Sadly it won’t fit his Alpine as it’s for a slant motor. ‘O’ rings included. Offers invited. Will post at buyer’s cost. Located in Sydney Australia.

23.01.2022 Next club run to Illawarra weekend of 15th November. Check November newsletter for details. https://www.facebook.com/1000024274846//2443706782386881/

23.01.2022 I believe Frank Schoenberger is a bit of a legend worldwide in Imp circles for anyone needing parts in Australia (and elsewhere) especially rubbers and also exhaust parts. Thanks to Roy McBride in Cape Town for pointing this out.

20.01.2022 There is currently a Rapier convertible advertised on eBay Australia for $28k. Rapiers - let alone convertibles - are extremely rare in Australia. If it turns out this is not a factory convertible, then the asking price would be difficult to justify. (A similar conversion on a 2 door hardtop was done in Queensland a few years back). Not sure if it is the same car or a different one. Hopefully potential buyers will do their homework and go in with their eyes open. Best to check the history of the car (such as previous registration papers etc) and ensure that the VIN matches a genuine convertible - not a cut down coupe. It is always a good idea to get the car checked out by a Sunbeam club member to know what you are buying. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/164495905191

17.01.2022 Thinking of this guy today. Thanks for the memories Charlie!

16.01.2022 This weekend would have been our Sunbeam National Rally. Because of COVID it wasn’t to be, so here’s a quick look back at last year’s National Rally show & shine in Hahndorf South Australia. (Happily NSW came away with the top awards)...

12.01.2022 A look back at Spyfest - A fun event which was held in 007 ‘Bond’ actor George Lazenby’s home town of Goulburn.

12.01.2022 A car museum on the NSW Central Coast of Australia where the cars on display were also for sale - at a price! Sadly no longer operating... https://www.facebook.com/1000024274846//1126684640755775/

12.01.2022 Very sad news with the passing of Sean Connery who only recently turned 90. The first actor to play British Agent 007 and the one who many felt was the best James Bond ever. The first Bond movie, ‘Dr No’ in 1962 gave us the first ‘Bond’ car - the Sunbeam Alpine.

08.01.2022 Fabulous club run to Lake Macquarie via Brooklyn, Peats Ridge and Yarramalong through extremely pretty countryside. Sunbeams from the Mid North Coast, Hunter Valley and Sydney attended.

05.01.2022 What a treasure trove! PS Certain Bristols have Alpine tail lights ... any spares??

04.01.2022 Some Bathurst memories. No Sunbeams unfortunately: https://www.facebook.com/1000024274846//1143076315783274/

02.01.2022 Spyfest spy festival 2016. A great event held in honour of Australia’s own 007 James Bond, George Lazenby.
