17.01.2022 We won!! We’re so excited to announce that we picked up gold in the Fashion and silver in the Product Innovation categories of the AusMumpreneur Awards tonight! When we started out in 2012, people would almost roll their eyes and bawlk at the idea of using a parasol as they walked past our market stall, and we would text each other on the rare occasion someone would buy one on the website - sold one!. On Sunday we’ll be attending our umpteenth Perth Upmarket and, these days..., dozens and dozens of people stop to tell us they already have one of our parasols, love it and want to buy one for a friend. Our online store turns over six figures and we’re on track to triple our revenue this year. There is a lot of hard work behind the scenes but winning these awards are a humbling acknowledgment of all of our hard work. Thank you to Peace, Katy, Cassie and the entire Ausmumpreneur team, the judges, guest speakers and presenters that have made these awards possible in this crazy world - you could have just thrown in the towel and postponed to next year, but instead you’ve created a unique experience that we’ll never forget. Thank you to Lisa, Tracey, Chelsea, Mandy and Vicky - our monthly catch ups and your generous and wise advice have been the catalyst for our growth. Thanks also to all our partners, without our parasol manufacturer, laser cutter, sewer and 3PL provider we wouldn’t be able to do what we do. Thanks to our families who support our crazy ideas, special shout out to Mino (aka the Courier / Accountant / Business Adviser) and 6 year old Isabelle (aka Wrap Packer / Tycoon) who helps pack our wraps (for pocket money). And thank you to our amazing and wonderful customers that surprise us every day with gorgeous five star reviews and kind emails telling us they love our products - it really makes all the hard work worthwhile.
