24.01.2022 The club travelled to Lake Eucumbene for the annual trip and thanks to Tanya and David at Angers Reach Lakeside Village. The fishing was tough but Matt managed a nice bag of 7 including the biggest at just under a kilo.

19.01.2022 The club's yearly trip to the Murray, got a bit warm but was otherwise great weather. Lots of small cod caught, but well done to Des with a 67cm and Dale 57cm.

18.01.2022 Due to the coronavirus crisis the Executive Committee has decided to cancel all club activities until further notice this includes Fishing Competitions and club meetings, effective immediately.

17.01.2022 Yesterday the club held the last comp for the season at Eastern View, with the weather not bad and plenty of little salmon, Lloyd got a winning bag, well done mate.

16.01.2022 Club room update.. Works are due to commence on the new club rooms mid to late October , existing club rooms will be knocked down and new one built in same location Stay tuned we will post pics as they progress

16.01.2022 This weekend saw the club go to Bairnsdale for the annual trip. With a great turn out, staying at the Nicholson River Caravan Park was fantastic, thanks Jamie. Well done to Toni with a 5 kg bag of 10 bream and Dale with the biggest fish, just over a kilo.

12.01.2022 Last Sunday the club held a comp at Lake Eppalock, some made an overnight of it, even though no size fish were caught, lots of small reddies Matt got a 46cm well conditioned cod.

08.01.2022 This weekend saw the club travel to Lake Eildon chasing natives. With the weather not to bad Matt won with a nice cod, his mate Ken bagged a great yella.

07.01.2022 The weekend prior to the long weekend saw the club travel to Torrumbarry for it's annual trip. We had great weather.

06.01.2022 Today the club held a comp at Eastern View, with good weather surprising, the fish were spread out, Steve managed a bag of three but Lloyd got two which included this great salmon of 1.7kg. Well done mate.

05.01.2022 STONKER TIME AT SPAVIN LAKE Was our turn at spavin lake today to get 30 extra large rainbow trout !! Have fun, hope you get out and get one !! Post some of your pics if you get any ... Thanks and enjoy the fishing

05.01.2022 Today was a great day for the Sunbury community after 600 rainbow trout were released into Spavin Lake. Thank you to Josh Bull(MP), Hume City Council and Victorian Fisheries.

04.01.2022 Club President Matt and his mate Ken had a social fish off Altona yesterday, bagging a couple of nice snapper, both around 5.5kg.

02.01.2022 Yesterday the club held a comp at Barwon Heads, fishing the estuary. With lots of small salmon providing some fun Matt managed a nice trevally.

01.01.2022 Thanks again to fisheries for the stocking of 600 trout into spavin lake sunbury. Great to see all the kids got to release some trout as well . Sunbury angling club along side fisheries have been stocking the lake for many years now, time to get the kids down there with a rod and try to catch them , good luck
