15.01.2022 Podiatry is an essential health care and medical service and therefore we remain open during stage 4 restrictions across Melbourne. In order to restrict non-essential movement across the state, podiatrists have been instructed by the Australian Podiatry Association that we can only provide services that prevent a significant change or a deterioration in functional independence necessitating escalation of care (i.e. requirement for specialist input or review, increases in car...e needs, avoiding hospital admission or emergency department presentation).
