16.01.2022 Good Afternoon All Its with very mixed emotions I come to you with the following information. The VTCA have finalized their decision on the results of the grand finals that were cancelled this week. Under law E141.7 which then moves into law E141.8, if no first innings result is reached the game is deemed a draw. Where the match is deemed a draw, the team ranked higher leading into finals is declared the winner. Based on this information, unfortunately our 1st eleven have wi...ll be deemed runners up. But from this point we need to celebrate the fantastic achievement of our 2nd Eleven grown Premiers for season 2019/20. Congratulations to Samuel Fisher and all team members for a fantastic season and we'll deserved win. As I stated at the top, we will all have mixed emotions. 15.01.2022 Congratulations to this week's club person award. With an outstanding preseason, Captaining our woman's team first ever win and filling in yesterday in the men's 5ths, Amber is a very worthy winner.

14.01.2022 What a wonderful weekend of cricket for our club. Our 1st and 2nd Eleven play off in the VTCA grand finals. Our 17s going for 3 premierships in a row, and our 3rds and 4ths in semi finals. Good luck to all!

08.01.2022 Another call out to all our members and supporters to get along to tonights Sportmans / Comedy night. This is an extremely important fund raising event for the club! So we need everyone's support. A great night of entertainment ahead with AFL legend Dustin Fletcher, Melbourne Cup winning Jockey Greg Hall, and Comedian Katie Burch. Plenty of memorabilia to be auctioned and the club favorite $50 meat tray is back. Hope to see you tonight.

01.01.2022 Today these 10 lovely ladies made history, becoming our first Senior Sunbury Roar Woman's Cricket Team. Hosting Sydenham/Hillside at Progress Oval, the girls bowled first and bowled out opposition for 64. Best of the bowlers was our Captain, Amber Rae 2/2, Kameka Barnes 2/5 and young gun Hannah Smajila 2/11. The girls chased the target with great control and aggression, reach winning score with only loosing 2 wickets. Great Vice Captain knock from Shelley Ellis 26no and well supported by Steph Mora 15no. Well done girls, the whole club is extremely proud of you all. Big thank you to Nathan Mora, Justin Allen and Steve Osborne for managing/ coaching the girls. And to all of the supporters who took the time to see history in the making!
