We're performing key out of hours works to install new rail services that will allow bigger, more modern trains to run on the Sunbury Line in the near future. Some of the works so far include: completing track, overhead and signalling installation at Watergardens to enable the sidings extension to accommodate the new trains platform modification works at Sunshine, Keilor Plains, Watergardens and Diggers Rest Stations installation of track, civil and overhead work at Calder Park sidings to accommodate the new trains completi...ng overhead wiring upgrade works from the Maribyrnong River to Sunshine station installing 65 piles for overhead structures along the line.
