23.01.2022 We wanted to give you an update on the funds raised for Share the Dignity at our International Women's Day and 5th birthday event held March 2020. A total of $1310.00 was raised! These funds have assisted with the purchase of approximately 650 items with the support of our local Foodworks Jacksons Hill. A big thanks to them for sourcing the largest number of items at the best price and for also donating some items themselves. These items have now been collected by Share the D...ignity and will be distributed to local charities in our region. This is what they had to say: It is with gratitude that I send you a Certification of Appreciation. Thank you for your generosity and kindness. 17.01.2022 Our Chairperson is one strong woman! Coral started CrossFit in 2014 and this year has been the most successful for her so far, qualifying to represent Victoria in both the Masters League Games 2019 and the IF3 Masters World Championships 2019. Last night, Coral and her family attended the Sunbury Leader Leader Local Sports Star dinner at the MCG, where she won the Sunbury/Macedon Ranges Leader Senior Sports Star award and medal in recognition of her achievements. We as...ked Coral what she loves most about the sport and she said It is so diverse and extremely challenging both mentally and physically. To be able to push yourself to the limit and leave nothing in the tank is very rewarding. It just goes to show that hard work does pay off. 01.01.2022 Proudly supporting Share the Dignity About Rochelle Courtenay Rochelle is Share the Dignity’s founder and Managing Director; the title she is most proud of though is ‘Pad Lady’. Rochelle has led a team of volunteers collecting around 2.5 million sanitary products across Australia.... When Rochelle first learnt of homeless women going without basic sanitary items during their menstrual cycle, she decided the question was not, why is no one doing anything but rather, what’s stopping me from doing something? In March 2015, Rochelle took matters into her own hands collecting sanitary items with her local community and distributing to local shelters. As a result, a simple idea of giving dignity to women, Share the Dignity was created and has grown to a national charity. Consequently, it has over 5,000 volunteers Australia wide, and most noteworthy, provides multiple initiatives aimed at giving dignity to women.
