25.01.2022 "Mountain" the Film in Mildura next Sunday at 7.00pm MILDURA FILM SOCIETY October 2017 Bulletin Where has the year gone? October already and our minds full of what Christmas is going to do to us. Now we have only two more films to screen this year and this is the penultimate. 20.01.2022 https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/where2walk Bushwalking Victoria are conducting a survey which finishes on 27th January 2019 in relation to the where2walk part of the website. Their notes with the request tell it all and follow. Just 2 quick reminders: 1) The where2walk survey closes on 25 January 2019. From a community of more than 6000 bushwalkers, we have only had 38 responses to date. It is a resource created by our bushwalking community for bushwalkers and we don't want to... base major decisions about the future of this resource on the response from 0.6% of the community. Can you please urge your club members to participate in the survey, it is quick and easy. Here is the link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/where2walk 2) It seems that some club members are still under the impression that they need to log in to access where2walk and register as a member on the BWV site using a club coupon code to obtain log in details. This is not the case as has been communicated to clubs via e-mail and via the bulletin and via a message on the login bar on the website that states only admin users need to log in. May I perhaps ask you to please communicate this to all your members again, it will be much appreciated. Thank you and kind regards, Izolde Bensch Office Manager

14.01.2022 The Weekend Australian Magazine (17/11/2018) has a very interesting article well worth a read on "for profit" use of national parks. If you care what is happening to them this will give you no comfort.

14.01.2022 It must be time to do the walk to Frenchman's Cap. I knew I would use the map purchased a couple of years ago one day.

03.01.2022 As a result of advice from Bushwalking Victoria regarding Coronavirus it has been decided that face to face contact is to be avoided until at least June and so no walks or meetings will take place until then. Further advice will be posted as things change. Stay safe and healthy.
