17.01.2022 Jeff recently bought his 33ft centre console up from the Goldy for us to tidy the wiring and check over a few things, however once the covers were off we found several concerning issues regarding the wiring etc..due to age mostly. We contacted him and advised what we had found and he gave us the go ahead to do what we do best, the result being over 150+hrs spent rewiring this big girl. We started with integrating the old to new Simrad system including pairing up the New Sim...rad NSS12 evo3S and the Halo 24+ radar with the old NSS evo2 and AC42 auto pilot We also replaced the existing battery isolator system, all battery cables, winch cables all lighting, pumps cables etc.. as well as the solar system with the latest and greatest Victron gear (works a treat). But the highlight for me was the JL Audio system we fitted SERIOUSLY THIS STUFF ROCKS!!!! With only 2 x pairs of speaker, 2 x subs, 2 x amps and a MM100 head unit there was no way I could sent it all the way to full.. so loud and so clear!! Big shout out to our boys we have been getting hammered now for months and they keep showing up and delivering faultless results and producing the goods. Thanks guys GO TEAM SME!!!

16.01.2022 This is the end result from an overcharging on board battery charger KABOOM!!! this was an extremely costly exercise for the customer as it also affected the second battery as well. And of course the location of this battery was NOT easy to access our guys did a great job keeping their cool and doing a great clean up job!!!

14.01.2022 This customer wants to be able to read the bottom at speed, I’m up for the challenge lol

10.01.2022 Simrad Training The refurbishment of Mooloolaba Rotary Rescue included the installation of new Simrad Evo 3 multi-function displays, Halo Radar and AP48 Auto Pi...lot. Peter Mueller from Suncoast Marine Electrical arranged for a training session recently for our senior skippers in our Training Room. Thanks to Ken Thompson from Navico Australia for coming to run the training.
