We appreciate your support on these days as these are our major fundraisers for the year and help us buy balls and equipment for the club. If you have any difficulties arriving by this time, please contact us Can you please ensure you arrive at the Taylor Centre by 12.50pm so we can be ready to start promptly at 1.00pm. Please wear appropriate sports clothing and bring a water bottle. A light afternoon tea will be provided.... And just a reminder, for those who haven’t paid, to bring your $10 registration fee. Cara and Annika will be available in the last bit of the clinic for a chat, photos and autographs - so if you have anything you would like signed by the girls please feel free to bring it with you. 24.01.2022 Hi Suncoast Netball Community We trust you are all faring well during these uncertain times and are managing to find a new normal for now. As we adhere to the 'stay at home' message that we all need to observe for the good of everyone, we trust our netballing girls are managing to stay active and well in this time. We encourage them to find some time each day to get the heart rate up and maintain some fitness as best they can. There are so many tutorials available online to give them ideas and keep them inspired. Stay tuned as well for some Suncoast Sports Vids starring some of our coaches coming soon to keep everyone on track. On behalf of all of our netball commitee and coaches, we pray you all stay safe and well during this time and we look forward to resuming our netball season soon.

14.01.2022 Reminder: End of Season Presentation - Saturday 17 August Just a friendly reminder that we are holding our end of year presentation this coming Saturday at the Fishermans Road courts. Most teams will have their presentation after their game (with a few before their game, due to the number of teams involved). There will be trophy presentations with morning tea provided afterwards. 13.01.2022 Grand Final Day done for 2019 and Suncoast Wins Club of the Year. Congratulations to our super Sparkles for winning their game in spectacular fashion and to Scorchers and Spirit for some hard fought games to get Runners-up. Suncoast is so proud of all of our teams for contributing to our award and we thank each and every one for their support. It’s been a fantastic season and we can’t wait for 2020!!

Suncoast Netball Club registrations will cost $280 for 2020. Registrations will need to be completed and paid for by Friday 7 February. Please be aware that registration includes insurance for all players, therefore we require that registration is completed pri...or to our club grading on 7 and 10 February. Registrations can be made via the mynetball website or via the mynetball app. Unfortunately there is no other facility for registration so we are not able to process registrations through the club or college. 09.01.2022 A very big THANK YOU to all our wonderful players and parents who helped out with our Bake Stall at the Suncoast Festival on Friday evening. Thank you for your baking and/or serving on the stall throughout the day. We so appreciate you giving of your time to support the club. It was a successful and enjoyable evening. We are pleased to say that, thanks to all your efforts, we raised almost $500 for the club. Well done and thank you!

08.01.2022 Please be advised that SCNA have made the decision to delay the start of the Saturday Morning Netball Fixtures for the first 2 rounds with the season now scheduled to start on the 2nd May. Under the advice of the College, at this stage, team training will still go ahead. We will continue to be guided by our leadership and will keep you posted on any changes as the health and well being of our community is paramount. Thank you for your understanding.

07.01.2022 Hi all. You may have seen that Sunshine Coast Netball Association has announced that we are returning to the courts on Saturday 11 July The details of what our Saturday game schedule will be are still being worked out. There will be fairly strict guidelines around attendance at the court and we will require your full support and cooperation to ensure that we are able to continue competition in a safe manner. At this stage it looks like we will have a 9 week season - finish...ing with finals on Sept 5. We realise this makes for a short season but due to other sports and events scheduled at the Fishermans Road complex the season cannot be extended beyond that. As soon as we are given more detail we will let you know. In the meantime, keep up your fitness and enjoy being back at training. We look forward to seeing you all back at the courts in a few weeks. 04.01.2022 Hi Everyone, we trust you are all staying safe (and sane) while we slowly work towards returning to some normalcy in these still uncharted times. Last night, SCNA released the below statement informing us of the latest status: With the release of the State Government’s Roadmap to Easing QLD’s Restrictions last week, it was the hope that we may have been able to return to training within the coming weeks! Yesterday, Netball QLD took part in an industry update and released the ...following: .The current direction from the Department of Sport and Recreation, under the guidance of Queensland Health, would see training activity resume under strict guidelines at the beginning of stage 2, currently scheduled for Friday 12 June. We are definitely seeing positive changes starting to happen and as such we are continuing to work towards providing a season for our members. You can read the full statement on the NQ Website. As a club, we will continue to be guided by the school and community sport guidelines and we look forward to our long awaited return to netball. Thank you all for your patience and understanding.

Attendance at this event is compulsory. The program is as follows:... 9.00 - 10.00am Grading games (training session for Years 3-6 teams) 10.00am Morning Tea 10.15am Important information about the upcoming season and club events, introduction of Club Captain, and announcement of teams and coaches 10.30am Meet with your coach and finalise training times etc. Uniform orders will be available to pick up, and the opportunity to finalise any uniform needs. If you would like a Netball Club hoodie for the colder weather, orders and payment will be taken on Saturday morning. Please note that there will only be one bulk order placed for hoodies for 2019 due to production and freight costs, so please order by the end of March to secure your hoodie. Payment of $45 is required at the time of ordering. Please ensure all players are there on Saturday morning, and we request that parents are in attendance from 10.00am. 02.01.2022 A reminder to continue to adhere to COVID Safe guidelines so we can continue to play the game we love.

01.01.2022 Hi Parents and Players The Sunshine Coast Netball Association (SCNA) has released an updated format for anticipated return to competition on July 11. SCNA had initially proposed a 9 week competition so that we finished in early September but feel that, in the interests of the players, a full 14 week competition would be best. It is anticipated the competition will run for 14 weeks starting on Saturday 11th July through to Saturday 31st October with Divisional Grand Finals (1...v2) being held Wednesday evening 4th November. (There will be no games in school holidays: 19th & 26th Sept and 3rd Oct). Please be aware that this draw and return to competition is totally dependent on receiving the green light for Return to Play which may not happen until Friday July 10 (as the roadmap now stands). SCNA have released the anticipated game times (see below) as there have been some changes to comply with COVID19 Safe Return to Sport Plan. There is now 30 minutes between rounds allowing players to leave before the next teams arrive to warm up on their court. There will be further changes to how we arrive at and depart the courts, and hygiene practices will be enforced. We will communicate any changes and instructions once we have been informed. As we go ahead with team training please continue to comply with restrictions and hygiene protocols. Thank you for your support, patience and understanding at this time. We recognise that the uncertainty has been unsettling and somewhat frustrating, but we are hopeful we can get back on the courts and resume a full season of netball
