21.01.2022 MELBOURNE | I've been working on something special over the past few weeks, and I'm so excited to be able to share the news with you today! For the past fe...w years I've been an ambassador for Opportunity International Australia, a charity that transforms the lives of families living in poverty in Asia. For more than 40 years, Opportunity International has provided small loans to families in need so they can grow their businesses and generate sustainable incomes to lift themselves out of poverty with dignity. Opportunity and I have teamed up with @Sunda Dining, Hotel Windsor, Melbourne, and Grace and Fides from The Entree.Pinays, who have dedicated their time to help bring what started as a small idea to life. On Friday 12 June at 6pm, Sunda head chef Khanh Nguyen and his team, consisting of chef Nabil Ansari and chef John Rivera will cook up a menu of Indonesian, Indian, and Filipino dishes, spotlighting the regions supported by Opportunity, and capturing the vibrant soul of Modern Asian cuisine, that are easy enough to prepare and cook at home. Trust me, these replies are fantastic! You can get involved no matter where you are in the world (the class will be recorded). You'll receive a shopping list and preparation instructions ahead of the event, and Melbourne participants will also have the option to click and collect a convenient ingredients box from Sunda, supporting their local wholesale suppliers.
