23.01.2022 A Message from our President: I am writing to advise that your committee has decided that the only responsible course of action, as the country works to restrict the spread of the Corona virus, is to suspend Sundyniners competitions until further notice, effective Wednesday 25th March, 2020. This decision was made after the Prime Ministers address on Tuesday night 24th March 2020 spelt out the need to avoid all non-essential movement from home. The decision wasnt made ligh...tly as we recognize the need for normality and appreciate the benefits of outdoor activities. Earlier yesterday we had come to an agreement on how we could continue to maintain our weekly competition by limiting social interaction, and with the introduction of strategies to avoid the handling of bunker rakes and flagsticks. We had even canned novelties so that we didnt have to handle the stakes. At this stage all golf clubs are remaining open and you still have the option of a social game with friends. If you choose to do that, Id suggest that it will be easier to manage if you only play with one other person. Look after yourselves and your loved ones. Stay alert to changing situations but stay calm. Hopefully we can be back on the course together sooner, rather than later.

19.01.2022 It was a great day out on Sunday to celebrate the life of Audrey, who we sadly lost year. 23 ladies dressed in green to recognise Audreys heritage & St Patricks day. Well done girls. Audrey would have loved it

12.01.2022 Well although the AFL season is certainly a little different this year - we still managed a great turnout for our Derby Day played on 19th July, 2020 at Collier Park Sund'yniners.......... Results: Winner: Claire 20 points Runner-up: Helen H 19 points (on a countback from Gill)... Longest Drive: Adele NTP from Tee: Gill 2 pars and an outstanding birdie on the par 5 9th for Helen H, 3 pars for Gill, 2 pars each for Pat C and 1 par each for Barb, Annie, Jenny, Carolyn, Wendy and Lisa.

11.01.2022 WINNERS - 2020 Gnome Challenge played @ Whaleback Golf Club on Saturday 31st October, 2020. Well after an official "protest" to reconfirm all the scores of the day for both 18 holes and 9 holes, the "Sund'yniners" have won little Gnomie back for 2020. 18 Hole Winner - Sue Lewis 42 points 9 Hole Winner - Barb Carter 22 points... 06.01.2022 Another fun day at the Sund'yniners Commonwealth Games challenge. Perfect conditions for alot of fun and the sledging was rife so I'm told. The girls went all out in their team colors sporting their chosen countries.
