25.01.2022 Congratulations to Wattle Grove Speckle Park for making it into the top 5 female of the Five Star Creative Promotions. We also got in the Top 5 with Sunny Dale Phantom Lot 11 in Scone Speckle Park Sale next Friday online on Elite Livestock Auctions

25.01.2022 We have had a fun, full on and eventful week travelling over 3,500km to see some great Speckle Park studs around NSW. First went to Panorama Speckle Park just out side of Narrabri, their cattle are well presented and we can already see the direction they are heading with the breed. Rob Roy Speckle Park was out 2nd stud just out side of Gulgong, it was great to see a couple of the bulls we have broken in and to see how well the cattle have come out of the drought, we can’t wai...t for what they have coming soon. Then it was off to Wattle Grove Speckle Park in Oberon, the wind was cold but as always fantastic hosts, seeing magnificent cattle and we have learnt a lot more, as always we can’t wait to see you have in your October sale. 2nd last it was Born Ready Speckle Park at Dyers Crossing, it’s was great to see an up and coming stud with a lot of passion going in the right direction and big things in the furniture for this stud and we can not wait to see it all happen. Lastly Spectacular Speckle Park at Lawrence on the way home, again it was great to see the speckles coming out of the drought in good condition compared to other breeds and we cannot wait for shows to start up again and see what they have on offer. 22.01.2022 One thing everyone misses about show season

22.01.2022 WE HAVE DONE IT!!! Our very first ever flush program with 4 head. Pretty good day with 18 over all. A massive Thankyou goes to Udo from Embryo-Life for all everything he has done from day 1 of talking about doing it and for all the information that we will definitely take on board for future flushes. Also thanks charlie and everyone for all the moral support it’s been a great help.

21.01.2022 I think some of the crew are missing show season. Let’s hope 2021 is the year bigger and better #specklepark #showcattle #sunnydalespecklepark #Agriculture #agriculturalshows

21.01.2022 Guys can you please share this around. We’ve searched high and low in what is a small paddock near Westbrook to find this little embryo calf born last Thursday.... There’s no evidence of smell or bird life around to suggest she has died and the mother is bagged up with milk, and no evidence of wild dogs, so our only conclusion is she’s been taken over the weekend. I’d like to have thought that wouldn’t be the case but that’s all we can think of. Reward offered for information and or safe return of her. See more

21.01.2022 I remember doing this as a kid. Great fun for a youth camp and it works! Figuring out how to weigh a cow, bull or calf is easy if you can measure the animal ...body length and girth. Use this guide to determine the weight of your animal: Measure the circumference of the animal, as shown in "distance C" in the illustration. Make sure to measure girth in relation to the location of the animal's heart. Measure the length of the animal's body, as shown in distance A-B in the illustration. Using the measurements from steps 1 and 2, calculate body weight using the formula HEART GIRTH x HEART GIRTH x BODY LENGTH / 300 = ANIMAL WEIGHT IN POUNDS. For example, if a beast has a heart girth equal to 70 inches and a body length equal to 78 inches, the calculation would be (70 x 70 x 78) / 300 = 1,274 lb Wendy Cole Lyn Coombe Jack Walker Edward Quinn Brad Saunders Vicki N Brad Hanson See more

18.01.2022 After selling Phantom to a wonderful family in Victoria we decided why not buy a heifer for the partnership of Beth Vide Speckle Park and us. A lovely long, thick, deep, structurally correct and quiet heifer from Black Diamond Speckle Park Stud

16.01.2022 Last calf born yesterday afternoon and a great place to find her this morning. She is all good running and drinking. Lucky to have great cows as mothers as Teeka didn’t leave her side until she saw us and ran back and forwards between calf and us.

14.01.2022 Seeing ekka still put the firework display on is great but you know you would have had a cracking team/ fitting team isn’t the best feeling.

14.01.2022 After the boys first tie up we have finally got names Rampage and RockStar. Their names suit their personalities to a T
