06.04.2022 I split my native hives today for the first time in almost 2yrs. I normally leave them to it but the hives were quite heavy and healthy so it was a good opportunity to take a look. The way they build hives is unreal and a real treat to see. I even took a little native sugarbag honeythe most special prize in all of beekeeping.
28.03.2022 Just thinka single bee will produce 1tbsp of honey in its lifetime, and they are 47tbsp in a 1kg jar. It’s staggering how much work goes into this perfect food!
