21.01.2022 Club Re-open on this Friday Because the present situation of CoronaVirus cases in QLD are under good control with only 3 cases in the last 3 days and TTQ in Brisbane is still opening, the club decided to reopen club from this Friday (7/08/20). The previous measures taken in the past will continue to be applied, including to measure temperature, to clean hands with sanitiser before and after games and no new players are allowed. We are different from other clubs because we use... schools. If anything happens, the school must be closed. Therefore, everyone must be careful of themselves. If you don't feel well, you shouldn't come to the club. 20.01.2022 Club Temporary Closure for one week A few Queensland suburbs where are closely with us have been on high alert after two women with coronavirus allegedly lied at the border after arriving from Melbourne 3 days ago. This has caused the much higher risks for all of us to be infected by Coronavirus than before. Based on feedbacks from members from both club admin committee and service group, it has been decided that the club will be closed for the time being for one week (from M...onday, Aug 3 to Sat, Aug 10, 2020). 01.01.2022 Announcement: Club Open Normally Based on the information from Brisbane Table Tennis Association (BAAT) website, as given below: On Saturday 22nd August 2020, the Queensland government announced new restrictions limiting people to gatherings of 10 or fewer people in their homes. Members should note that this restriction does not currently apply to businesses and sporting organisations (like BTTA) with a Covid Safe plan. As such we are still open for table tennis on our curre...nt program of activity. Members are asked to remember appropriate social distancing requirements and to avoid unnecessary physical contact with others. Thus, our club will continue to open without the limitation on 10 players from Monday (24/08/2020) with the updated Covid-19 Safe Plan as below. From now on, open or close of the club will follow BATT’s instructions.
