18.01.2022 IMPORTANT VISITOR INFORMATION As always, the protection of our patients and staff is our highest priority. In line with the State Government’s recently announced COVID-19 case in Queensland and subsequent lockdown imposed on the Greater Brisbane area, unfortunately we will not be accepting visitors at our hospital until further notice, unless under exceptional circumstances*.... We apologise for the inconvenience and hardship this may cause, but appreciate your understanding of the need to keep patients as safe as possible during these challenging times. Please contact your loved one by telephone or device, and our friendly staff will support regular digital drop-ins so you can keep in touch. *requires approval of the General Manager. 13.01.2022 We are pleased to advise that effective Saturday 24th October 2020, we have eased some restrictions to our hospital and introduced a new screening tool. Visito...rs must not have traveled overseas in the last 14 days, or be unwell and must complete Healthscope’s COVID-19 QR screening. Social distancing (1.5 metres apart) must be observed when visiting. Below are the revised visiting hours and details for each unit. Intensive Care Unit 10.00- 12.30pm Rest period 12.30- 3pm 3pm-8pm Only 1 visitor at a time. Consideration for special circumstances will be given upon request to hospital management. Maternity Unit 3.00pm- 8pm 2 visitors in addition to partner (now includes siblings <16 years) Partner able to stay overnight Consideration for special circumstances given on request to hospital management. Rehabilitation 10.00-12.30pm 3pm-8.00pm 2 visitors at a time during visiting hours. No < 16 years allowed to visit Consideration for special circumstances given on request to hospital management. Medical Ward 10.00-12.30pm 3.00pm- 8.00pm 2 visitors at a time during visiting hours. No < 16 years allowed to visit Consideration for special circumstances given on request to hospital management. Surgical 10.00-12.30pm 3.00pm- 8.00pm 2 visitors at a time during visiting hours. One parent to stay overnight with Paediatric patients No < 16 years allowed to visit Consideration for special circumstances given on request to hospital management. Day Surgery Unit No visitors, pickup post procedure at entry. TEMPERATURE SCREENING Temperature screening will cease at all Hospital entry points from 0500hrs on Saturday 24 October 2020. RECORD KEEPING Visitor QR screening will now take place instead of hospital staff manning entry points. This process will require the use of a smart device (mobile / iPad), in the instance where an individual does not have a device a sign in register will be available.

10.01.2022 IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PATIENTS AND VISITORS VISITORS: We are pleased to advise that effective today (Fri 25th Sept), Qld Health have eased restrictions for ...visitors to hospitals. A max of 2 (two) visitors only per inpatient (visit limited to one per day for one hour only) All visitors should be over the age of 16 years. Paediatrics: One parent can remain with patient at all times plus one (1) visitor permitted for one hour per day Day Procedures: Pick up of patient post procedures only - no visitors. Intensive Care: One (1) visitor permitted for one (1) hour per day Maternity: Partner, plus one (1) additional visitor over the age of 16 for one (1) hour per day VISITING HOURS: Strictly 4.00 pm - 7.00 pm. Any exemptions for outside these hours, will need to be approved by the Hospital Co-ordinator or Director of Nursing. SCREENING: As we continue to maintain our vigilance against further COVID outbreaks, it’s important that we continue to be rigorous with our hygiene and safety measures. All our existing safety protocols, including patient and visitor screening, temperature checks on entry and social distancing will remain in place. MASKS: Masks are no longer required to be worn within the hospital however masks will be available on entry points if requested. We wish to thank our patients, visitors, staff and specialists for their patience and understanding over the last few weeks and ask for your continued support during this time.
