24.01.2022 Read the post please!!! We are very lucky to live in a town of houses, open spaces and nature connections opposed to small flats, concrete jungles and excessive screen time. Children do need to take small (sometimes not so responsible) risks for greater/holistic development. Climbing, running, jumping and so on are essencial in any childrens life - accidents?? It will always happen and are part of a healthy childhood

21.01.2022 2019 thank you for being so amazing As we finish another year I cant help myself but to look back and find this huge sense of gratitude for all thats been. Thank you so much for everyone that somehow made it possible - to my side kicks Matt and Lukas Marley for always being there supporting my crazy ideas, to my beautiful kids that bring in the most sincere smiles and to the parents for the trust and appreciation. Also thank you all for the very thoughtful gifts I fe...el spoilt to the max - but most of all thank you for each word in each card Ive received - Ive been blessed to be able to do such job that gives me the opportunity to connect with families in such strong and positive way. This Family Day Care is now closed for a well deserved holiday and reopens for loving business on the 20th Jan 2020. Merry Christmas and Happy Hollidays

20.01.2022 Its that time of the year again when Im enquiring with current families and we talk about next year Day Care plans. Its a big end of year for us, quite bitter sweet as well say see you around to a few of our friends as they graduate to big school. Luckily we have few of the little ones still a year away from Kindy and they get to stay - yay. That also means spots available and that big puzzle of days, spots and needs for me to build. This morning I had a lovely conversat...ion with one of my mums - 2 of her older daughters had been with us for the past at least 3 years. We were working on possibilities and dynamics for the new baby for the new year. Her words were in the lines of I wouldnt be able to think for going back to work if wasnt for our Viv - this fills my heart with so much joy and gratitude. How lucky are we for having the opportunity to run this loving little business that connects my family with other families in such meaningful way Im forever grateful for the opportunities. At this stage we are organizing the needs of current families - and in the next couple of weeks well open vacancies to the community. 19.01.2022 We have been all about handballs lately! We run it down the stairs, roll on the ground, bounce to one another - following the interest we have explored all types of balls and games we can play with them. This morning we decided to include balls in our painting activity - we used the biggest marble we could find a box and rolled it around creating beautiful and colorful art work! Loved watching those little arms moving the big box around creating many different patterns! Many skills explored and a lot of fun!! 14.01.2022 Build strong and trustful relationships with my children is what i do day after day

12.01.2022 Ive been rather quiet this last month as we all know lifes been a roller coaster of emotions. I wasnt sure what to say, or how to say how I feel. At the beginning it was pretty sad seeing our little loves leaving for self isolations, the house getting empty, days pretty quiet. Then came the understanding that this was the best way to go - families that can do so should be isolating and avoiding social contact. I took my very own out of school as I felt safer with the mesur...es I was taking at home myself (the controlling mother). The government then came with their solution - offering families free childcare services - which is a huge win for families that are able to isolate. But the government didnt think how it would affect us educators, and how it would position ourselves towards our already broken economy. After a lot of thinking, grieving, and to be true a lot of a whinge from myself I came back to terms within and the belief to accept things as it is. I cant change our reality. Im grateful for having so many families that are now able to isolate themselves in peace and also grateful to still be here healthy and strong for the ones in need. I still have too many questions in my head - like I believe we all do. And I have no idea what the future holds, but I have hope, and I really look forward to better days. Ill leave here couple of pics from an activity we done for Harmony Week - it was right at the beginning when the Big C starting hitting our loved country hard. It was very meaningful to reminds us that we all belong and that we are all in this together. Remember to look after one another, check out on your mates, make sure they are ok. Who knows if the universe hasnt thrown it all at us for a bigger better outcome? We are all finally realizing whats important to ourselves - lets look at it as an opportunity to look within and find out how can we be better humans, how can we contribute to a better society. 11.01.2022 The Early Childcare Sector supports a system that is fair for all. Free Childcare is a great idea as far is its properly subsidized and not provided at services own costs. I wonder what will come next??

07.01.2022 Friends please help this Familiy Day Care and many others around the country to stay afloat and remain operational and able to support your families on the flip side of Covid - The Early Childhood Package Relief has thrown us under the drain, Free Child Care for families isnt free for Educators like me. We are pretty close to face permanent closure if nothing is done. Please HELP!
