23.01.2022 Sunshine Coast Wave Seniors will be well represented in the 25-Player NPL All-Stars/Queensland Men’s & Women’s Squads when they take on Brisbane Roar FC at Dolphin Stadium on 5 December and NSW at Perry Park on 12 December. Congratulations to Sofie Persson, Natalie Tathem, Jez Lofthouse and Corey Sewell.

23.01.2022 It is with deep sadness we report the passing of Rob Zanatta, husband to Kirsty and father to Sunshine Coast Futsal player's William and Adam. Rob started playing futsal on the coast in 2015 with his corporate team the Tooth Fairies (all Dentists). The team did quite well in their first season and it wasn't long before they progressed to a higher grade the following year. Unfortunately Rob had to cease playing due to his health issues but thoroughly enjoyed watching and suppo...rting both his boys, William & Adam. From everyone at Sunshine Coast Futsal, we would like to express our condolences to the Zanatta Family. 12.01.2022 Strong Futsal foundations for SEQ Player of the Year recipients! Congratulations to NPL Player’s of the Year Jez Lofthouse (Olympic FC) & Stephanie Latham (Capalaba FC). Futsal has played a massive part in their development, with both player’s having represented Queensland numerous times at the FFA National Futsal Championships.... Jezzy, a current Sunshine Coast Wave Men’s Player is unable to participate in the SEQFPL this year due to the extended outdoor football season but we’re hoping he’ll be ready to return next year. Jez’s Olympic FC will be facing off against Lions FC in the NPL Men’s Grand Final this weekend. Steph represented South Brisbane FC in the 2016 National Futsal League where she finished the season as Runner Up. The ex Brisbane Roar W-League Player represented Qld Futsal all through her junior years.
