Please see enclosed the proposed list of events that are planned for the remainder of the 2020 season. 08/08/20 - Gold Coast Sharks 'Shark Bite Tournament' 15/08/20 - Queensland Lacrosse League - Spring Season 03/10/20 - Queensland Lacrosse State Championships 17/10/20 - East Coast Tournament There is still plenty of lacrosse left in 2020 and QLA looks forward to seeing everybody out and about and enjoying their lacrosse again. Protocols and procedures for the resumption of club based training and activities has been sent to each respective club.

19.01.2022 2020 Womens Officiating Course VENUE: University of Queensland ‘The Meeting Place’ Sir William McGregor Drive (located in the athletics track grandsta...nd) ST. LUCIA DATE: Friday, 20th March, 2020 TIME: 6:00pm 8:30pm COST: $20-00 per person. (Course participants will need to pay for their course to their respective club). QLA will invoice each club for their representatives. PRE-COURSE REQUIREMENTS: All course participants will be required to complete the following and present the completion certificate at the course. ALA Senior Women's Online Test - complete this test to be accredited. Course participants will also need to download and print off the FIL womens lacrosse officiating rule book by following these links - http://lacrosse.com.au/ - coaching and officiating / officiating womens lacrosse / rules. The rule book needs to be brought to the course. Course will include both classroom theory and practical demonstrations. On completion of the course, further mentoring support will be provided for all course participants at the second round of the Queensland Lacrosse Summer League. There will also be an opportunity on the Saturday morning to go over further practical demonstrations before the competition game. 15.01.2022 2020 Queensland Lacrosse Summer League Competition In consultation with with Australian Lacrosse Association Ltd and following a meeting held last night by the ...management committee of Queensland Lacrosse Association Inc all competition has been suspended indefinitely and this will take place immediately. This includes all scheduled Queensland Lacrosse Summer League compettiion games, Queensland Lacrosse Association senior representative squad training. Further to the above, the management committee would ask that all clubs suspend all activities - training / events / inhouse competitions until further notice. The management committee will continue to communicate with Australian Lacrosse Association and provide ongoing updates as required. We thank everyone for their patience and understanding and look forward to getting everyone back on the playing fields in the future. Until such time, please stay safe and well.

With this mind, please find attached the developed Queensland Lacrosse Association Inc player injury and insurance claim process form. If all clubs could please add this to their club folders and also their bench folders plus place on their revelant social media platforms to ensure that all players, officials and volunteers are made aware of the procedure to making an insurance claim.
