21.01.2022 Meet Willy ( Wonka ) our new addition to Sunnyhurst's herd. It was not the best of days yesterday to introduce him to his new home, as it was 40*, but it did not take long for him to join in on his daily shower with our other boys. This cute 14 month old alpaca comes from a local stud.

20.01.2022 Wishing everyone a Joyous and Peaceful Christmas. It’s a great relief to be able to put the challenges and disappointments of 2020 behind us ( even just for this special day ) We wish to extend our Warmest Wishes to all of our guests waking up at Sunnyhurst this morning. Also to our many loyal guests who have become our friends over the years and continue to enjoy escaping to the chalets. May you all enjoy good health and an abundance of happiness in 2021 Much Love... Tracey and Cos See more

17.01.2022 We are already into the second week of the school holidays. This year is certainly flying by! Guests made memories and friendships this past week, both with the animal kind and other guests.

17.01.2022 The Festival for Country Gardens begins next weekend 1st November. For those avid gardeners we still have our 4 bedroom chalet available. It sleeps up to 10 guests and overlooks the animals grazing in the paddocks ( see picture attached ) Organise a girl's weekend away and visit the winery next door, which have their garden on display too. There is so much to see and do in and around Bridgetown and it is spectacular this time of year with it's glorious range of colours anouncing spring. Call to book 0429611081

16.01.2022 Hello to you all on Good Friday 2020. We are suppose to be fully booked for Easter succeeded by April school holidays. Instead we find it is eerily silent, apart from a neigh ( ponies ), a bray ( donkies ), a hum ( alpacas ) or a baa ( sheep ). For those guests ( you know who you are ) which are suppose to be visiting this weekend, or during the holidays, we extend our warmest wishes to you and your families for a healthy/happy Easter break. Also we want to wish past and future guests a happy family time together whilst this self isolation is in place. No doubt we will all look back upon these strange times with many mixed emotions as well as some fond memories. Stay well and safe everyone. We will leave you with some autumn pictures of the property and our beautiful animals who are sure to be missing the extra attention from you all.

12.01.2022 Bridgetown is truly the most picturesque place to be during the winter/spring months. We have had a late cancellation ( our only available chalet these school holidays ) It is for the 4 bedroom chalet which sleeps 10 guests, has 2 x queen bedrooms, one with 2 x singles and another room with 2 x sets of bunks from Sunday 4th October - Friday 9th October- perfect for 2 families! Please call Tracey on 0429611081 Please note: This is accommodation only. Due to Covid and physical... distancing, we are no longer a farmstay with animal feeding. We can offer you a quiet, rural property to relax with your own log fire inside the well equiped chalets. Enjoy a fire pit outside under the stars in the evenings and explore what the region has to offer, including a local Winery, Cidery, quaint shops in the town centre and local lithium mine lookout/site. If the kids want to experience animal feeding, take a breathtaking country drive 20 minutes to Donnelly River and hand feed the free range kangaroos and emus. Whilst there, book the flying fox for the whole family to enjoy. See you soon See more

10.01.2022 The very charismatic and loveable Henry has had a difficult week. It has been touch and go :-( but he is a determined fella and is fighting hard. The vet has established there is some unknown infection which is being treated with antibiotics and LOTS of love and attention from us. Here he is having his daily medicine. His little mate, Gerus, has been standing by his side every minute for the past 4 days. We love you Henry

09.01.2022 Sunnyhurst Chalets would like to thank you all for your continued support during the Covid-19 times. We have made a few changes to ensure the safety of our guests is paramount. These changes have not affected visitors to the chalets and we are extremely grateful for you all choosing to visit Sunnyhurst and our amazing region. We are already 3/4 booked for the Sept/Oct school holidays so please if you want a relaxing getaway in a gorgeous environment we suggest you get in quick. We will leave you with a few pictures taken during these past weeks on and around the property.

08.01.2022 Good Morning from Bridgetown! It has been a while since we posted and there have been some significant changes to Sunnyhurst during Covid-19. Firstly to let you know the July school holidays are already fully booked, sorry to everyone who has missed out. There are still weekends available all through the beautiful, still, misty months of winter and we are offering a mid week special of book 3 nights and get the 4th FREE!!! ( conditions apply ) Due to the impact of Covid-19 wi...th the difficulty of physical distancing, we have made a decision not to continue as a farmstay for the duration of this period. It is with a heavy heart we announce these changes but rest assured all the animals are happy, healthy and on a 500 acre property nearby. We can still offer super clean accommodation, with log fires in each of our chalets and FREE wood supply for your stay. There are animal interaction options in the area during your stay, including a 20 minute picturesque drive towards Nannup, to Donnelly River, where you can hand feed the emus and kangaroos which roam free. Also a trip to the alpaca/olive farm in Bridgetown to feed and learn about these gorgeous animals. For details, just ask us. Sunnyhurst Winery is only a 250 metre walk from your front door and the breathtaking river walk only 400 metres from your front door. The Cidery is 1km from Sunnyhurst - well worth the visit, their lunches are great! There is so much to see and do in and around the historic town of Bridgetown, including visiting the quaint little shops and cafes. We just want to reiterate that we are pet friendly too so pooch can join the family ( there is a small 1 off fee and dog rules apply ) Sunnyhurst is perfect for those large family gatherings- with a 32 bed capacity, the property can be exclusively yours for that special celebration. Ask about Cos' amazing spit which he lovingly prepares for your extended group ( 20 guests minimum ) We hope to see you all soon in the winter capital of WA - *** BEAUTIFUL BRIDGETOWN ***

08.01.2022 To all our past, present and future guests. Here's to an exciting NEW YEAR and all of the wishes and promises it has to offer!

08.01.2022 Out with the OLD and in with the NEW!. We have installed efficient split-system airconditioners in all of our chalets. After our busiest summer in 4 years, we want to make our guests even more comfortable. They are also handy in the winter months to warm up the place, especially on waking, before the fire is restoked.

06.01.2022 Where has this year gone? The holidays are fast approaching and we have a busy season coming up. The pool has reopened and is sparkling and ready for our summer guests! Unfortunately we have no vacancies until January 2nd ( only 1 chalet ) for 2 nights or Jan 4th - 8th ( only the 1 chalet ) Otherwise January 12th - 17th is available as is Jan 19th - 25th. Bring on the Festive Season!

06.01.2022 We get to be so grateful for being a part of the hospitality industry. These are just a few recent comments in our visitors book which make us feel privelidged to share our property with some awesome people.

03.01.2022 Hello All It is with great consideration and considerable sadness that we have decided to cancel all bookings until June. As this situation progresses, we will consider any current bookings from July onwards on a monthly basis. We feel it is the responsible action to take in these difficult circumstances. We hope that this will be shortlived, but of course, it depends on the duration of the effects of COVID 19. We want all our past and future guests to know that when this is... all over we look forward to sharing some HAPPY times again with each and every 1 of you. Please, when it is over, let's all consider supporting the growth of our economy and businesses ( such as ours ) and enjoy travelling this GREAT country of ours. Thank you for your understanding. Stay Well Beautiful People We hope to see you again soon :-) Warmest Wishes Tracey and Cos See more

02.01.2022 We hope you all are not too bored through this lockdown, we certainly haven’t been. Cos and I have been busy creating more things for kids to do at SUNNYHURST. We totally get that parents need some time out whilst they are holidaying. These are a few of our new additions on the property to keep the kids entertained, including a basketball hoop for the older children please BYO basketball. We still have some availabilities for the April school holidays ( sorry Easter is fully booked ) Ring to book a family getaway in either the April or July holidays while there are still chalets available and not to mention during the best time of the year in Bridgetown. ( WA’s own winter wonderland )
