25.01.2022 This is the best article I have seen on drought, MDBA and the lower lakes. Thanks to Peter Hunt at the Weekly Times for highlighting these issues. ~ Kevin

25.01.2022 This is more than just one man talking about water. It is more than just one organisation getting a group of farmers to #convoytocanberra. It is more than one growing region of Australia who have had enough. ~ Kevin

24.01.2022 Outlet channel on the NSW side of Lake Mulwala today .Zero Allocation in NSW this water is going to SA bypassing the Barmah choke the sneaky scum that is the MDBA

24.01.2022 We followed them to Brisbane and our message was seen from their meeting window. We have made it to mainstream media albeit in Sydney. Thanks Channel 7 for showing Australia our issues with water. #fixtheplan #cantheplan #fodderwaterfast #MinCo #channel7 #7newsnow

22.01.2022 More support for #convoytocanberra from MFC. If there is no water, there is no fruit, then there is no businesses like MFC. Sunraysia would look like a different place without the food Bowl and all it creates and supports in this community on two rivers. (Also yes Im in a lot of the photos, our business supporters just arent as photogenic as me ) ~ Kevin

21.01.2022 Alan Murphy from the Sunraysia Daily interviewed Kevin at the steam driven water pump used by the Chaffeys the original settlers of Mildura who designed the irrigation settlement and made it possible for the Oasis In The Desert what would they be thinking now? ~ Kevin #convoytocanberra Speak Up 4 Water

21.01.2022 BLAMING FARMERS David Littleproud issued a media release on Friday which turned into the front page Daily Telegraph story, "farmers fail to tap into water". O...n the same day, Mick Keelty criticised farmers for showing anger at Ministers. Is this the government's new tactic? Blaming the victims for the mess they created. Please join Speak Up 4 Water, Topher Field and the Convoy to Canberra - Can the Basin Plan to fight back and correct the campaign of lies and distraction.

15.01.2022 Farmers and food producers are set to converge on Canberra to demand action on the Murray-Darling Basin Plan. More: http://bit.ly/34rEE4x #Credlin

15.01.2022 Darcy and Brooksy with their team have worked tirelessly to protect water rights for everyone in the Southern Connected System. They have identified idle and wa...sted water which could return old water back to the productive pool for those in the Southern Connected System if the Keelty investigation is fruitful. With outsomes to be shared 50:50, it is a win for all!! See more

08.01.2022 Over 1000 cold and angry farmers turned out today #cantheplan

06.01.2022 Out of respect and in support of the communities who have been devastated by fire in Australia we have been working on the Interim Inspector General report and have been quieter in the media. When talking with people who have been struggling through the drought for the last 10 years I always hear people say "there's worse off than me." And our thought and prayers are with those in the effected areas. Although the fires have been swift and totally horrendous don't believe that... these are a natural disaster. Just like the current drought we are enduring these have been exacerbated by the bureaucratic system of desk sitters who are unwilling to listen to those who are out in the environment watching the destruction build and unfold. "Irrigators" has been a dirty word since the Four Corners program aired earlier last year. Irrigators get no recognition for their water that also provides a safe haven for the animals who are struggling in this drought. We should call on Environment Minister Sussan Ley and Water Minister David Littleproud to reward low or no allocation farmers with the water that is debited as environmental losses before irrigation accounts. This could be done ASAP to give immediate relief. The agricultural and horticultural industries also have millions of trees and plants that take in tonnes of carbon dioxide which produces oxygen and yet we get no carbon credits for this! Kevin

06.01.2022 Here is the latest SCG Newsletter containing information about water. SCG hopes everyone is staying safe.

05.01.2022 The Mildura Weekly is spreading our message to #cantheplan when we join the #walkforwater to Canberra. Its time to STOP the waste of water under the Murray Darling Basin Plan.

05.01.2022 In this video Topher recaps the cause of the terrible crisis in the southern Murray Darling Basin, and then gets stuck into the politicians who are allowing it ...to continue, or even making it worse! No animals were harmed in the making of this video. Politicians? Well they weren't so lucky. Email your MP to demand an end to this MDBA madness here: www.topherfield.net

05.01.2022 Our fifth-generation family farm is at risk of closure due to the flawed Murray Darling Basin Plan. If we go, its not just our family affected - Gone will be ...the 10 full time staff members and 6 families whose livelihood is dependent on us. Gone will be our 7 schoolchildren from 4 local schools. Gone will be roughly 10 employees from the milk processor. Between us, were volunteers on local committees, community fundraisers, industry representatives and members of sports teams that will be gone from our local community. Gone will be the $4.5 million dollars that is injected into the regional economy year on year at the 70+ local businesses that we support. Gone will be the supply of 8 million litres of milk enough to supply milk to 75,000 Australians for a year at a time when Australian milk supply is dwindling. Poor implementation of a flawed Murray Darling Basin Plan is killing our region, were at a tipping point and once were gone, therell be no coming back. Thats why well be joining the Convoy to Canberra on the 2nd of December to yet again make our case to the politicians that this policy induced drought is causing irrevocable damage to our regional economy and communities. Policy has created this mess & with political will and leadership, policy can fix it. Please share to get the word out. #Cantheplan Speak Up 4 Water #MDBPlan Sussan Ley MP John Barilaro David Littleproud MP Senator Bridget McKenzie
