22.01.2022 How excited to do think we were to be back out on duty. Thank you so so much Sunset Strip. Sunraysia Drag Racing Team did an amazing job of running a COVID safe Test n Tune event.

22.01.2022 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT After today’s announcement from the Andrew’s Government, releasing Metro Melbourne from the ring of steel on November 8th, we are treating all Metro Melbourne competitors as confirmed entries for the November 14th Test and Tune. This could/might change if cases increase and Andrews Government change their minds. We hope this won’t be the case. South Australian competitors if the boarders are not opened or a date given for opening by the end of day No...vember 1st, we will have no choice but to remove your entry. This is to allow people on the waiting list have time to prepare. A call regarding event times with weather and temperature taken into consideration will be made on Sunday November 8th. We have been receiving a fair bit of rain at the moment as forecasted and have also had a few high 30s days as well so we need to see what it’s planned day forecast will be to better look after competitors. What ever happens we will stand by any of the decisions we make regardless of outcomes as the club cannot take anymore losses after this year so we need to do what’s best for us. Information regarding our COVID PLAN and information required by all competitors and crew will be sent out over the weekend, this needs to be returned to the club as soon as possible. We are very excitied about todays announcements.

18.01.2022 Sometimes it can be the small things that can put the biggest smile on your face. With how this year has gone we need as many of these moments as we can get to help give us a bit of happiness. We were sent this image today and it’s of Neil Gannaway, his crew and his front engine dragster called the Duck. The Duck has just had a makeover and tonight is its first outing at the Perth Motorplex for the Perth Powerpalooza event. After purchasing some of our current merchandise s...hirts earlier this year they liked them so much and they suited the car enough that they purchased more shirts and are now using our Sunset Strip shirts as this seasons crew shirts. We are very honoured to have the Gannaway’s using our shirts for this purpose and will give our track a bit of exposure at Australia’s best facility. Thanks for supporting our track. 16.01.2022 Good afternoon all, sorry for such a long post but considering what the team did on the weekend with the first Drag Racing event in Victoria since COVID-19 lockdowns I feel they all deserve a bit of the spotlight. 15.01.2022 Super excited that these have just arrived!!! So if you are attending the Test & Tune, and you ordered a book. You can get an extra treat to take home other than perhaps a PB! I will get on the postage prices for everyone else sorted in the coming weeks.

15.01.2022 Here is the current list for our november Test and Tune. At this point in time we have filled all 60 spots but this also depends on all restrictions being lifted enough for both melbourne and SA entrants to attend. 15.01.2022 Just a bit to say there is a working bee this Saturday starting at 9.30 lots of smallish jobs that need to be done to help get us ready for this test n tune in November if restrictions are lifted enough for us to have adequate entrant numbers. Things like cutting up tyres. Checking over and Testing equipment. Cleaning and tidying up. Etc if you could let us know you can make it so we have enough food for lunch.

11.01.2022 This is everyones last chance to order a book. All the pages have been Sold so only copies of books are availavle to be ordered. Books are $50 plus P+H, the postage won’t be worked out until the book is printed and we have it so it is a more accurate price. The order will be going in early next week so you have until Sunday night to order a book. 01.01.2022 Just a note to say this Saturday starting at 9 am we have a working bee. As this is the weekend before our test and tune we need to mow and wipper snip as much of the facility as we can so the more hands we can get the better, with all the recent rains they have grown a bit. We also have to start track prep and getting things organised for the event. There is lots of other small things that need to be done so as said before many hands make light work. If you are able to attend can you please let us know so we have enough lunch for everyone.
