25.01.2022 NOMINATIONS OPEN We are super excited to open nominations for our next event, on Sunday 6th December at Gillman Speedway. This event is a trophy day fo...r: Sub-Juniors (ages 7-10) Juniors (ages 10-16) Junior Standard (ages 13-16) Nominations are $50 per senior driver, $25 per junior driver. Pay one nomination and you can race as many classes as you want! Gates open 8am Scrutineering 8:30am - 9:30am Drivers briefing 9:30am Racing from 10am 3 heats of 8 laps, plus a 12 lap final for every class! You can nominate here: https://form.jotform.com/202841831422852 Nominations close Monday 30th November, 9pm. Please remember to be COVID safe. Do not attend any speedway event if you are feeling unwell or in the last 14 days have had contact with a known or suspected case of COVID-19. Social distancing will be enforced.

18.01.2022 Overnight, the Sunraysia Dirt Karters lost 2 former-members, who have both grown their angel wings way too young. Emily Seymour who was tragically taken from us raced in our junior class in 2010/2011. We have lovely memories of Emily running late for a race meeting because she had been at ballet all afternoon. And Charles Tyson, who raced with us in 2013/2014 has passed away after a long battle. Sunraysia Dirt Karters are deeply saddened with the loss of these 2 young people and extend our deepest sympathies to the Seymour and Tyson families. Emily and Charles, now racing at Heavens Speedway.

12.01.2022 Hi Sunraysia Dirt Kart Members. The Executive have had a discussion and due to the Covid -19 restrictions, practice and racing for September, October, November and possibly December has been abandoned. By the end of November we hope to have the AGM and see if it is possible to have a practice in December.... Otherwise the season will start in February 2021. It would be a good idea if everyone looks at having their membership up to date and perhaps renew or apply for your licenses. We are waiting on Speedway Australia's go ahead. If Covid-19 restrictions change we may be able to hold a practice earlier. Please be aware Bumper bars are mandatory for season 2020/2021. Kind Regards Sunraysia Dirt Karters
